Shark Ridill 2 - Blank Matt Black This helmet is great value for money, looks very stylish being matt black and extremely comfortable.
Shark Ridill 2 - Molokai Matt Black / Anthracite / Red Has a sun visor built in, looks good and is quite comfortable.
Shark Skwal 2 Blank - Matt Black Had an 900 before which got tatty. Couple of things to note on this, order big! Had to order an XL despite being a large for previous helmets. Helmet looks and feels great, the cloth that helps the gap are under the chin is thicker material which is good. Helmet is very quiet and aero means zero buffeting. LEDs are not that bright, bit of a novelty really. Only complaint is the horrible way to remove the visor (just lift and pull and hope you have the right angle!). Terrible and unexpected from Shark
Shark D-Skwal 3 - Blank Matt Black Great fit and feel.
Easy to install, after a wet day without using one and constantly fogging up, it made a big difference!
Shark VZ16014 Max Vision Clear Visor V7 - Road Legal Great replacement and delivery time
Shark OXO - Sikter White / Blue / Red I own quite a few Arais, including a TourX4, but this is my go-to helmet for a day long ride or for touring. Why? Mainly because I relish the flexibility that the Shark offers; chin bar stowed away in warm conditions (a la open face) or full face in inclement weather - and I've ridden these past couple of weeks in both. Having owned a couple of the earlier Evo series helmets, I've noticed a marked improvement in the Oxo's fit and comfort levels. It's far more plush and comfortable than my earlier helmets. Not yet on par with the likes of my Arais but......getting there.
The only thing that has annoyed me was that one of the side 'panels' decided to pop off and disappear into the undergrowth - somewhere. It hasn't affected the performance or convenience of the helmet, but that's not the point. I have since discovered that sourcing parts for Shark helmets is not straightforward. Indeed I've had to go to Shark in France; where the P&P is more expensive than the item! What a shame. Hence the 4 stars.
