Shark Helmets

Lovely helmet but does not come with a chin curtain, so looks a little unfinished without one. They can be purchased separately so not a huge issue

Bought to replace an out of date earlier model, so was pretty sure it would fit, but appreciated the extra features at a similar price, all backed up by Sportsbikeshop excellent service. Ordered on saturday and delivered on sunday!

A very good fit, easy to put my specs on.
Visor fit is good, noise levels are better than the outgoing Shoei NXR2, sun visor is a bonus, so far so good.
Delivery time was good and it was well packaged.

I recently swapped out the standard clear visor on my helmet and honestly, it’s a huge visual upgrade—it looks absolutely great. While it is fairly expensive for an accessory, it definitely delivers on looks. The blue tint is sharp and clear from the outside in daylight. It would be nice, though, if it came bundled with a Pinlock insert to help manage fogging. Interestingly, from the rider's perspective, you get a subtle yellow tint which I actually found quite useful for boosting contrast in low-light or overcast conditions. However, since it is tinted, it noticeably reduces visibility at night, so you’ll definitely want to avoid using this one for any dark evening rides and swap back to your clear visor.

It's always frustrating to damage a new helmet, but I was actually glad the spoiler was there. I dropped my fairly new helmet from a low height and cracked the spoiler, but I'm pretty sure it took the impact and didn't transfer the force to the wider helmet shell. Replacing it was easy to fit as a spare part, though I do have to admit it feels pretty expensive for what is essentially just a piece of moulded and painted plastic with a few screws. Just a quick heads-up if you're tackling the replacement yourself: the screws are hex-type, so make sure you have the correct driver before you start the job.

I thought i was going to have to buy a new helmet when I had a little accident with my helmet. But these little beauties saved me a fortune. Good value also. They fit my shark ridill 1.2 perfect.
