Sportsbikeshop delivery was excellent as always. Absolutely cannot fault anything about the service they give each and every time I've bought anything.
This is a replacement pinlock visor for my Shark evo gt.
Weirdly the first pinlock visor over time start to get what I can only describe as a Crackle glass effect to the point where vision was becoming distorted. Hopefully this replacement won't suffer the same thing.

I've had shark helmets before and always find them excellent value for money while still being of very good quality. I'd always order this true to size as I find the fitment very good, I've quite a round head if that makes sense and other makes (OMP for my track car helmet and some others) I find I have to go up a size. The finish of the helmet is very nice and it's well put together and most importantly comfortable. The only negative I have is that there's no breath guard fitted but clearly has the slots for one, also the wee extra rubber chin guard underneath the helmet isn't there. They actually make them but you have to order them separately at a cost of around £32. This doesn't sit right with me as they always come standard on my sharks previously and they still should imo. It would also be nice to have more visor options when ordering as even though it wouldn't be road legal you can't have the visor pictured so it should really should what you can actually get rather than an option that's not available.
Helmet would have got 5 stars if it came with the 2 guards rather than wanting extra for them.

Helmet is a comfortable fit and came with a tinted daylight use visor. However found that the helmet is very noisy even at 30mph.

Nice paint job, comfy and the visor mechanisms feel better than the older models which had a tendency to fall apart.

I love the comfort and quality feel of this helmet. The integrated visor controls are ideally placed too. My only gripe is that there is no pinlock or chin curtain included. I understand that the helmet is priced mid range, so the pinlock is pushing things but the chin curtain should be standard, in my opinion. The guys at the store fitted my cardo with no problems and it fits perfectly into the padding.
