Shark OXO - Blank Matt Black Really like the wide apperture - great visibility
Shark Spartan RS Carbon - Shawn Matt Carbon / Silver / Anthracite Got this to replace my Shark riddle 2 helmet that I was very happy with also, I got this one due to it being a fantastic price on sale and the quality jump is substantial, not to say the riddle was a bad helmet in any way just this is noticeably better in places. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this to anyone as it's really very good, I've had 2 previous shark helmets and find the fitment for my shape head excellent.
Shark Spartan GT Pro Carbon - Ritmo Carbon / Black / Anthracite After having a Shark D-Skwal for 3 years - this was a much needed upgrade.
The quality is superb - and it is much more subtle in real life, and it is sooo light!
The best element however is the fit and the noise reduction, it just seems a whole new level to what I have had for so long. Highly reccomend.
SBS delivery was impeccable
Shark Aeron - Carbon Skin Carbon / Violet / Black Needed to replace my Spartan GT and this was the obvious choice.
A step up in quality, much lighter, and the carbon on show is stunning.
Exactly the same fit as the Spartan as well.
Shark VZ300 Race Visor Dark Smoke - Not Road Legal I've been really impressed with this visor. The fit is spot on and it seals tightly against the helmet, which helps keep wind noise and drafts to a minimum.
Installation and removal are straightforward, making it easy to swap over when needed.
The tint is excellent for bright and sunny conditions, reducing glare without making visibility feel compromised. It also gives the helmet a much cleaner, more aggressive look, especially on a dark lid like mine.
The visor mechanism still operates smoothly, and the seal around the edges remains snug when fully closed. I've had no issues with rattles, poor fitment, or unwanted gaps.
Pros:
✅ Great fit and finish
✅ Easy to change
✅ Excellent sun glare reduction
✅ Seals well against the helmet
✅ Improves the overall look of the helmet
Cons:
❌ Can be quite dark in low-light or night-time conditions (as expected with a dark tint)
Overall, if you're after a quality tinted visor for sunny rides, I'd highly recommend it. It looks fantastic, fits perfectly, and does exactly what you'd want it to do.
Shark OXO - Blank Matt Black I had to buy an XL as the large was to small .
My old shark evo 2 was a L and fitted like a glove.
The new replacement reverse flip front fitted well in the shop but to my dismay was noisy on the ride home, noisier than my old lid was .
Also when in full face position the chin bar was rubbing off my chin which was irritating.
Of course I can't return the helmet because I've worn it .
I've discovered decades ago what ever you buy think it fits well in the shop doesn't always until you're you're actually riding the bike.
Shark Spartan GT Pro Carbon - Ritmo Carbon / Black / Anthracite Very disappointing experience with the Shark Spartan GT Pro Carbon - Ritmo Carbon / Black / Anthracite.
The first helmet I received had broken cheek pad clips straight out of the box, so it had to be returned. I then received a replacement helmet, only to discover multiple cosmetic defects across the finish, including visible white streaking/marking on the reflective sections and inconsistent/faded-looking carbon in several areas.
For a helmet costing around £500, this level of quality control is unacceptable. The defects were present immediately upon opening the box and the helmet had not been used. At this point I genuinely questioned whether I had been sent a display model, but if this is simply standard factory quality then that is even more concerning.
The cheek pad system on the original helmet also felt fragile and poorly designed considering cheek pads are expected to be removed for cleaning, intercom installation, or replacement throughout normal ownership. I have owned significantly cheaper helmets that felt far more robust and better finished than this.
It is a real shame because the helmet design itself looks fantastic, is lightweight, and has great styling, but receiving two separate helmets with completely different faults has destroyed confidence in the product and the manufacturer’s quality control.
At this price point, premium quality should be a guarantee, not a gamble.
