Comfortable but don't feel protective

I like these for commuting on my 125 and for pottering around on but the material is so thin I think normal walking boots or even some trainers would provide more safety, not sure how they get the safety ratings they do, probably from that little D3O ankle patch, as I bruised my foot just from the side stand at the top part. But for casual riding and definitely nothing off-road or fast, they're nice.

I have only worn these for a couple of rides so far, however I have worn them a lot to 'break them in' and they are beyond comfortable. I think they're great. Would recommend.
