Advice & Guides If it feels like armour in your bike kit then the law demands it is actually proper, protective armour. Here's how to tell how effective your impact protection is...

Super nice and comfy but colour dose lighten after first few washes
My need was to find a pair of safe riding trousers, that wouldn t look too out of place when worn in a casual(ish) work office environment, these had to come in a short leg.
I saw a pair of these in a local store a while ago but never got the chance to try them on. While browsing for a new helmet, I saw these were also in stock in my size. As we all know, motorcycle sizing is quite, errr, random but with the option of being able to return them easily, I took the plunge.
Quick to arrive, they feel very substantial and of good quality. The cut is good and I went for the extra short leg (due to boots and having extra short legs it appears). The UK temperature was in the 30 s C when I wore them and they were very hot at that temperature but that is rare in the UK so I am not worried about normal days. The armour is disguised very well too.
This all sounds very positive, so why only 4 stars, is it the price? No, I think they are good value, it is the fact that while they do a great job in the office, the designer decided to put a big motto on the back pocket which points them out as motorcycle gear.
Very recommended.
Wear them in office, looks smart enough and comfortable
I prefer these so much more than my Knox jeans and John Doe Pioneer jeans. I'm a bit of a chunky lad and have big thighs and these are surprisingly comfortable and flexible. I'm a 32 inch leg, but opted for the Short length version and these are literally perfect to wear to work all day, they feel like a normal pair of jeans. However, I may buy another pair in the Normal length version as when sitting on the bike the jeans do pull up higher than my ankle boots but that was to be expected.
Only thing I dislike is the armour. When compared to Knox L2 armour which has more coverage of the sensitive areas and is more comfortable, the ones provided in the Bull-it's are slightly less comfortable and protect a little less. But still a solid option and the armour inserts in the knee are adjustable in 2 positions.
Sizing correct and armour at knees easy to adjust to stay in proper place. Fairly slim fit but can still fit them over boots as they stretch. AAA rating is welcome.
Fantastic service and the jeans are great!
I wanted a pair of biking jeans for those times when you're meeting up with folk and don't want to be in full biking gear, but still want some protection. These strike a really nice balance, they feel solid and well made but still give good freedom of movement once you get off the bike. The armour is good and not too obtrusive. The black is a solid black rather than lighter charcoal - really nice.
I'm a fairly lean guy so tried the slim fit ones first. They were extremely slim. The straight are, in my view, still very fitted but to a stylish and comfortable level.
I use these with a pair of Merlin Bandit boots
The boots are exceptional and highly recommended.
Great quality and very comfortable jeans don't notice the armour and level 3 protection love these jeans look great ?
Perfect pair of biking jeans worn them to this years Assen TT and was really comfortable.
