I installed the extender according to the instructions but it say far too close to the tyre (5mm at the tip);and was dangerous. I ended up having to take the mudguard mounting bolts out and put some washers under the rearmost part of the bracket in order to shim the mudguard and bring the extender away from the tyre. It's not ideal.

It does a good job at stopping the mud. I stuck mine on with sikoflex and it seems good so far. Not 5 star as the sides don't run in perfectly smoothly but pretty close.
