Alpinestars Acteon Textile Trousers - Sand

I was looking for summer trousers and didn’t want jeans, all my gear is Alpinestars. These are more like combats with loads of pockets. The armour is great and very flexible, you don’t even know it’s there. Very comfortable. Highly recommended.

My new favourite trousers to wear when I'm not wearing a 1pc suit. I personally like the style of these, somewhere between urban and adventure, but I wear on a sportsbike and think they look great. The quality is very good as you would expect from this brand. Protection is obviously going to be limited compared to leather, but they feel good quality and well put together, definitely a great option for commuting or day to day. They do come with knee armour and they have pockets for hip protectors. Found them to be very comfortable on and off the bike, belt is fully adjustable and doesn't dig into you when riding. I like the detail Alpinestars have put into these trousers. Loads of handy pockets with plenty of space allowing you to travel without the need for belt bags etc. I use the velcro front pocket for carrying sunglasses or a smart device. The bottom of the legs are slim, but open the leg zip and they fit over my inner boot in my supertech r's then tuck in and zip up the boots, and not constantly adjusting them. I have worn with base layer and I'd probably suggest they aren't going to be warm enough for the colder winter months but fine from spring to autumn. I'd recommend trying your normal size and one up, with the belt adjustment you might prefer a slightly looser fit elsewhere.
