If it feels like armour in your bike kit then the law demands it is actually proper, protective armour. Here's how to tell how effective your impact protection is...
They look very discrete and as close as you can get to regular jeans but with the protection you'd expect from AAA certified motorcycle clothing.
They feel comfortable and fit well over casual motorcycle boots. They also don't ride up on me as I'm sat on the bike, making it both practical on and off the bike.
Have had these for a month. I like them a lot but they are not perfect. The fit is pretty good. I specifically wanted straight fit as I think slim jeans look ridiculous and are uncomfortable. These are on the slimmer side of straight - certainly not loose, but still comfortable and look pretty good. My issue with the fit is these are a fairly low rise, which results in a tight groin area. Not so much a problem standing, but sitting on the bike or on a chair you will notice there is not a lot of room there, which for me is a big disappointment as a looser groin fit is usually what you would get on straight jeans vs. slim. Also, there is some sign of wear beginning to show on the knees where they make contact with the bike. I am not a particularly aggressive rider and my bike does not have tank grips. I bought the black. Maybe less noticeable wear in the blue. If you have tank grips I suspect they will wear much faster. Overall, I’m happy enough. I just wish they had a looser groin area!
