Nice Jacket - Good Fit

Jacket is stylish, comfortable and warm. I found I had to go a size up as the arms felt short on the small.
My only negative things would be the cuffs are a little tight on the wrist when buttoned when wearing gloves and a watch, also no back armour but I can use one from another jacket. Would buy another assuming it passes the test of time.

My wife got me this for Christmas, love the cut and the colour. Very practical jacket, full warm liner for winter, plenty of vents for summer, plenty of pockets, easy to attach to jeans with zip or using the loops for your belt and also waterproof. Got it for a good price and big thank you as there was no stock in the warehouse but they got one from one of their stores, fast and efficient delivery. I would definitely recommend the jacket and sportsbike shop.

Fits really well, lots of pockets, and does a good job keeping me warm and dry. I'm a big bloke and this jacket is comfortable and not too tight across the shoulders.

I have the previous iteration of this jacket and have used it all year round for four years and it is still in good condition.
I can tell this has reduced in quality and won't last four years from the collar lining to the zips this appears to be an exercise in profit increase/cost reduction sacrificing quality. I sent it back.

Previously had the earlier version of this jacket Oxford Hardy in size 4XL/ UK50.
Ordered the new version Hardy 2 in same size, 4XL, way too big. Ordered 3XL , still too big.
Last chance ordered 2XL and it fits great . So I am now a 46’ chest according to size guide.
Not sure why the sizing is so different from the previous version. As is normal SBS brilliant for refunds and delivery

A very good retro style jacket

Having just bought a new modern classic bike, I wanted a new jacket to go with it. This was just what I was looking for. I wanted a shorter style in waxed cotton, with shoulder and elbow protection ( I also bought a back protector), enough pockets and removable thermal lining. This jacket has all of the above. In terms of size, I'm a 43-44 inch chest, but had to go up to a 2XL to get the right fit. Initially sleeves felt slightly long, but once on the bike, the length is spot on. This is now my favourite jacket.

Bought to replace the Hardy v1.0 and the improvements have really made a difference. The only slight downside is the cuffs are now a single press stud, so not sure how they claim it's adjustable. The original had 2 which was perfect. Despite that slight niggle, it's great all-round jacket and super service from SportsBikehop as always
