Oxford Level 2 Back Protector Insert

Very good back coverage & feels like it is up to the job, the rubber is soft to touch but very sturdy at the same time & should live up to its level 2 rating. Great price & a must to accompany any Oxford textile jacket.

I bought this for my waxed trials jacket and although I haven’t tried it in the jacket yet, it looks like it will be a good fit. The protector is a strong, sturdy material and has a good cushioning effect when pressed. Hopefully it won’t be needed but I’m confident in its quality nonetheless. Also a good price for an important bit of gear!

It’s difficult to rate a back protector because hopefully I’ll never have to put it to test. It fits nicely in my jacket and it feels very comfortable. It’s also very reassuring that it’s there should it ever be needed.

How can you rate something you hope you'll never need.
However this feels a lot stiffer & hopefully offers more protection that the level 1 back protector I have in my other jacket.
It's not stiff like a lump of wood though & moulds to your body once worn & heated up.

Seems too cheap for a level 2 protector. It fits the jacket I bought it for perfectly but you do need to make sure it warm to be able to bend it in.

I expected it to be longer. It is very flexible however and moulds to your back with ease. I hope I never get the chance to try it out for real!!

Weise scout has L1 back armour, this protector is the same physical size but level 2. It is of course firmer so needs to be well warmed to get it in. Maybe not as much airflow as I would have liked for a hot weather jacket protector, but since it is not sold for that I am happy.

Got this for my mondial street jacket, would be nice if the pocket and protector went lower down the back but it's solid

Fits my Oxford jacket perfectly and doesn't feel too uncomfortable. Great value.

After fitting this in my Oxford hoodie it fits just right and is comfortable when it's moulded to my back after a few hours

Fits my Montreal 4 jacket perfectly and feels comfortable, hardly noticed it was there.
