Scorpion Exo-Tech Evo Carbon - Onyx Black

Its warm in winter and airy in summer when you can ride with the chin over the back if you want to which is really handy in traffic and built up areas'. Its no noisier than other helmets I've owned, but it is the lightest flip up helmet around and it is really stable. It has the easiest flip over mechanism going and flips over with the visor down or up unlike most others!

The peripheral vision is pretty good, better than the equivalent helmets available.

I'm an x-small so when the padding is bedded in it does fell a little too big but that's because the shell sizes are the same form XS to Large which is the same for the majority of helmets out there unless your looking at race helmets which is what I wear on my Street Triple.

A quality product that looks and performs brilliantly. Very quiet, my first Scorpion helmet and I’m impressed.

I wanted a replacement for my Shark Evo ES. I loved the flip over style and I considered another Shark but was put off by Shark pricing, weight, noise levels and continuing issues with the visor / flip mechanism which seems present even on the GT. This Scorpion helmet is much lighter than the Shark, the mechanism is better than the Shark, The PinLock works and is not scratched - unlike the Shark. My Cardo 45mm JBL speakers fit well in the recesses provided in the Scorpion helmet unlike the Shark where you have to carefully remove (cut out) hard foam to make the speakers fit. The Scorpion lining and neck skirt are easy to remove to facilitate the remainder of the installation of my Cardo wiring - the Shark neck skirt plastic permanently deformed when trying to reassemble it. Despite all the Shark's faults it convinced me that I wanted a flip over helmet design and the Scorpion is an improvement in every respect. Oh, and the Carbon looks very nice!
