Fastenings changed, bought original 3 years ago. This was to replace those that failed because the ykk zip cloth came away. New ones have a plastic not metal zip, the opening does not seem quite as wide and the velcro hooks look more plastic. Only time will tell if these are better worse in the longevity stakes.
Same size in the new ones feel a bit tight right now but I am sure the leather will soften becoming more compliant with time
I like the fact that they adjust and fit well on your wrist fastening securely using a zip and Velcro Fastners, very easy to get on and off and fit securely under the jacket sleave, compared to other gloves that only use Velcro which sticks to everything except where you want it. A breath of fresh air compared to other gloves not using zip. A good fit and very comfortable. Highly recommended.
