I went to the Sports Bike Shop in Boston because I wanted to check out 3 different air bag vests that I had researched online. I settled on the Alpinestars tech-air 3 v2 as I thought it was easily the best of the three. The assistant at the shop was helpful and knowledgeable. All airbag products are very technical but manual provided was clear and I had it ready to use very quickly. On my first ride, I forgot I was wearing it after the first few minutes, it's that comfortable and unobtrusive. I chose the day glow version of the vest and I'm glad I did. I've only had the vest for a couple of weeks but so far it's been excellent, which is good news as I promised my wife I would never ride with out wearing one!

Fired when taking jacket off

I'm really disappointed that with zip undone and neither of the two safety connections made the jacket fired when taking it off. Early days awaiting response from Airtech but the replacement inflator module is on back order and costs £170. I'll be arguing I shouldn't be paying anything as due to a fault. These jackets sound clever but clearly the tech isn't up to the job currently. I'm very disappointed.

Liked the fit, very true to size. The product is good, the app and lack of subscription are a plus. Definitely recommend. Bought a tech air 3 ready jacket to match (though had to ho a size bigger than the vest).
