Arai Tour-X5 VAS-A PrecisionTone Pinlock Insert

I am very pleasantly surprised at how well this works. It does not go very dark but it goes dark enough to reduce the sun glare and make vision better in bright sun but not so dark that going through a tunnel causes an issue.
I wear glasses (photochromic) which do not change under the visor so this photochromic Pinlock really does make a difference.

Typical good quality, worked well on last 2 long rides, easy to fit and use. Being inside the visor, doesn't get too dark and bonus not having to swap it out when night time comes.

All I can say is colours are important. I originally bought a green irridium visor and although it looked very good on my tour X-5 it made the world all a shade of purple when looking out from within and ruined my rides when out in the countryside. This however is perfect when matched with a clear visor. It adjusts to the amount of sunlight while retaining the colours and keeps my rides enjoyable. On the plus side when the sun starts to go down vision is not impaired as the visor returns to a more clear state. Would highly reccomend to anyone.
