The design work for the M-SKEID jacket was built around a clear objective: versatility. A laminated softshell jacket that adapts to all seasons. Waterproof with its outer layer, with a removable thermal lining and direct ventilation with Fidlock magnetic system fastening, the M-SKEID jacket is an effective companion for all your motorcycle adventures in winter, mid-season and summer!

Waterproofing is easily achieved with their outer later thanks to the XDRY3L laminated, breathable membrane which reaches an impressive 26000mm in the Schmerber water column test. 1300mm is deemed to be waterproof for any fabric and in the case of a motorcycle rider going 80mph in the rain, the pressure of water on their clothing typically reaches around 8000mm. A breathability rating of 20000 MVTR is also achieved.

The M-SKEID is equipped with a removable Ripstop thermal liner with 240g of padding on the body and 80g on the arms, and allows the use of this touring jacket all year round with the help of the Fidlock magnetic fastening vented panels. Plenty of adjustment at the biceps, forearms, cuffs and waist allows the perfect fit. Six pockets can be found on the outside of the jacket: two zipped pockets with a closing flap, two zipped chest pockets, one forearm pocket and one zipped back pocket with a closing flap. Two inside pockets with a waterproof wallet pocket are also available, as well as two pockets within the removable lining, one with a zip.

The optional Ixon M-Thermawind jacket (sold separately) can be attached inside to provide even more warmth for the most extreme cold conditions.
