The design work for the M-SKD PT trousers were built around a clear objective: versatility. Laminated Softshell trousers that adapt to all seasons.
Waterproofing is easily achieved with their outer later thanks to the XDRY3L laminated membrane which reaches an impressive 26000mm in the Schmerber water column test. 1300mm is deemed to be waterproof for any fabric and in the case of a motorcycle rider going 80mph in the rain, the pressure of water on their clothing typically reaches around 8000mm.
A removable Ripstop thermal liner with 80g of padding is present and allows the use of these touring trousers all year round with the help of the Fidlock magnetic fastening vented panels. Plenty of adjustment can be found at the waist, thighs, calves and ankles for the perfect fit along with two pockets and CE level 1 Fanom knee and hip armour.
