Advice & Guides The label inside your boots will tell you about what tests they've gone through, and how they did. Here's how to decipher those labels for yourself...
Good ankle support and quite comfortable to walk around in.
I bought these as I live in Wales, where it rains 50% of the year. I can't compare these to any other boots as I only have had 1 pair prior and that was almost a decade ago since I stopped riding.
Had these for a couple months now. Only rode a few times in rain, and even after only 15 minutes ride and low speed, my toes are wet.
If i bought the non waterproof version, they'd get a 5 star rating.
After a minor accident which injured my foot and ankle, I decided to buy something more substantial than my "casual style" bike boots. Yet, I wanted something I could wear all day and walk around in. These do the job perfectly. A few weeks in, and no complaints - they're comfy, they're waterproof, they feel protective.
One thing to note - I'm normally size 10, but I had to get size 11, as my feet wouldn't fit into the opening of the 10s or 10.5s (as I have quite wide feet). That said, once my foot is in, the 11s don't feel too big - maybe a couple of mm too long.
