I was looking for a summer boot that I could ride in with peace of mind regarding protection plus comfort for walking around at a destination. These boots look the part and fit the bill almost perfectly. The only slight drawback is the hard edge of the leather at the ankle which can rub if your socks are shorter than the boot. I mitigated this by unzipping the boots whilst off the bike, thankfully they fit so well they didn’t feel loose or slip around and I suspect the edge will soften over time, being leather. I love that they allow air through the piercings, helping keep my feet cool. The insoles are give a lot of comfort when walking and after 1000 miles and approx. 50,000 steps, I think me and my new boots are going to enjoy a lot of summer touring together.
I must add that Sally Alexander, Customer Support Manager at sportsbikeshop.co.uk was incredibly helpful in getting the boots to me in time for our departure for which I can’t thank her enough. 5* service as always from this vendor ?
