ARMR Suko 1.0 Waterproof Jacket - Red

I bought this to be my new spring/summer jacket, although I have to admit, the main thing that attracted me to this jacket was the red camo which looks good with black riding jeans and boots (and also matches my 2016 Speed Triple S!)
The first jacket I ordered was 5XL (same as my current Richa goretex winter jacket) but was just way too big and loose, so I returned that for this 4XL size which fits beautifully and still has ample room to add extra mid-layers if needed.
The jacket is nicely constructed from lightweight material but has a good, heavy duty main zip and a mesh lining. The jacket length is slightly shorter than an adventure jacket but slightly longer than a traditional sports jacket, but doesn't scrunch up much when sat on the bike.
The Hood is not detachable, but is kept securely in place with a press-stud and doesn't get in the way of my helmet when riding or doing lifesaver shoulder checks.
Sleeves are fastened with velcro, and there is enough adjustability to have my Halvarssons winter gloves inside or outside.
By my reckoning there are five external zipped pockets (two waist, two chest and one next to the main zip) and one internal unzipped pocket, shaped for a phone, but I would have liked a zipped internal pocket.
Armour is fitted in the shoulders and elbows and there is a pocket for a back protector (but none provided). The armour is lightweight and very flexible and doesn't feel at all restrictive when riding.
I'm currently wearing it for commuting to work and while I need to wear a mid-layer for the cool morning temperatures (about 6-8 degC here in West Yorkshire) it is fine for evening use.
I haven't ridden with it yet in rain, so can't comment on the waterproofing.
My only real criticism is that there is no way to tighten/adjust the waist, but apart from that I'm really happy with the jacket, it is excellent value for what it is.
