I struggle to find trousers that fit as I've got a long inseam and larger thighs as well, which often results in having to go up a few sizes in the waist to have enough room. I went to the MK Store having ordered 8 different pairs of trousers to try on, and these came out on top! I wanted a waterproof pair of trousers that were AA rated and had a removable thermal liner, that were long enough and had enough room around the thighs to be comfortable on and off the bike. No complaints. The material around the knee isn't as shiny as the images suggest. The zipped pockets are quite shallow, but the velcro pockets on the thigh are big enough. My only note for improvement would be to have braces that I can make longer - I've currently got them at the longest it allows but find they ride up a bit higher than I would like, so an extra 2-3 inches in adjustment would be ideal for me. Happily recommend!

Fit very well, good waterproofing. Seem to actually stay down over my boots. Zip to the jacket well. So far I’d recommend them.

Size is right. Fit well. I don’t use the thermal liner and had no problems with cold down to 2c. Waterproof and vents for the way home when its warmed up.

Great Short Leg Fit and Quality

Had the Montreal 3.0 for nearly 5 years and decided to treat myself. As a rider with shorter legs Oxford can’t be beat and I can’t recommend them enough. it is a superb fit and with the moveable knee pads it’s perfect. Great price and quality.

Introducing the Montreal Dry2Dry® 5.0, a versatile adventure pant with a best-in-class specification. The Montreal 4.0 already offered great value, so Oxford had to work extremely hard to make improvements.
The 5.0 pairs an upgraded HDR Poly™ (High-Density Recycled Polyester) outer shell with a high performing Dry2Dry® waterproof membrane for downpour-beating performance. The membrane also offers exceptional breathability (rated at 20,000g/m2/24hrs) ensuring a sweat-free, extended comfort ride, suitable for a wide range of conditions. SnapLock Vents™ at the upper leg feature a snap fastening to keep the vent open, drawing maximum airflow. The removable thermal liner adds extra warmth on cooler days.
Adjustment has been considered from top-to-bottom, starting with adjustable braces that can be detached depending on preference. Hook and loop d-ring adjustment at the waist and calf combined with adjustment tabs at the cuff offer fit tailoring for increased protection and comfort. Stretch fabric at key areas maximises movement on and off the bike.
The critical impact zones at the knees and hips have been reinforced with heavier duty materials and trim, all of which helps the Montreal to comfortably achieve a CE AA rating, as well as a reassuring feel of quality.
