Barely released to the public and already a world champion! Ridden by Ana Carrasco, the 2024 WCR Women's World Champion, the Ladies RFX1 Evo gloves immediately took their place on the top step of the podium.
The Evo version is more modern, comfortable, and high-performance, with a focus on brand-new construction and updated components. Its topside construction combines calf leather with Stretch Kevlar®, and its palm, made of ultra-supple goat leather, offers unparalleled comfort and precision. Each protective element is carefully designed and placed within the glove for unhindered, precise movement of the fingers, hand, and wrist, starting with the new AirGo Protech™ shells. Inspired by helmet technology, they include a rigid outer shell for shock resistance and a soft inner honeycombed element to absorb energy from any impact and foster airflow, thus reducing the formation of blisters (aided by the thin layer of breathable micro-Bemberg fabric integrated into the palm). Metacarpals are also protected on their upper section through a honeycombed TPU element that limits the effects of any impact.
On the track, precision at the controls is essential, but it also needs to be accompanied by top-tier palm protection in case of contact with the asphalt. The Ladies RFX1 Evo gloves are the perfect combination of these elements, with their multilayered assembly of soft elements that are highly abrasion-resistant, layering full-grain leather over Kevlar®, 3 millimetres of foam, and Superfabric®, as well as an Ergo Protech® honeycombed slider shell on the knuckle- it passes level 2 CE certification tests with flying colours. Particular attention has also been paid to the glove's fit, and the zone around the wrist and forearm has been totally redesigned to include materials that allow for greater manoeuvrability while offering superior support and protection.
