These are an excellent summer pant for warm weather. After a sweltering day last summer, I decided to get some proper mesh motorcycle kit. These Held trousers fit the bill perfectly with mesh and protection in the right areas. The armour that comes with the trousers is a little hard and I've replaced it with a level 2 foam alternative. Paired with my Held Tropic 2 jacket, this is an ideal summer touring combo in my experience.
These mesh trousers are as I've said in title, comfy and airy. I have given them a 4 rather than a 5 as the right hand pocket developed a hole after just a couple of weeks (could have been my fault but don't think so) It was an easy fix and in no way a deal breaker. I've found my Held jacket is also great.
Very light and breathable trousers, great for warm weather. Just returned from France wearing them for 1600miles, all good. Not as much protection as your unusual heavy textiles and take over trousers in case of rain.
