Held Ladies Lane 2 Leather Trousers - Black / White

Matched with 'Debbie 2' leather jacket, so please see other review too! Haven't worn leathers in years due to having a retro bike and wearing bike jeans/textiles. Currently have sports bike, so decided to buy leathers in view of a tighter fit/better protection and not disappointed. Not only do they look good (not bulky and dare I say quite flattering) they are so light and comfortable, lighter than my biker Draggin jeans! My waist is approx 30 and after trying the 12 and 14, the 12, even though tighter in the waist (but could still do up, however looking forward to a little more stretch once worn in!) still comfortable to sit in and perfectly fine on the bike. The reason for opting for the 12 was that the 14 had too much movement in the leg, you could grab half a handful on the back of the thigh and the bottom was slightly baggy. I did think I would stick with the 14 as I really didn't want to go down the 'wearing in stage' but now I have the size 12 and sat around in them for a few nights I can honestly say what a great decision it was, they fit so well. The added bonus is the back of the trousers, in having a material panel instead of leather it's so much easier to zip up my sports boots, no gathered or bulky leather to fight with. I cannot stress enough how supple, light and comfortable these trousers are. The only thing I've done and may change some of the other armour now, is I opted for the Held EXOsafe D30 hip protectors, which I'm totally amazed doesn't make my hips look bulky and it so flexible you wouldn't know you have any armour there at all. Great quality trousers & due to the soft leather feel comfortable however for me the waist was way too low & a size 48 in reality equates to a uk size 12!!!!
