Bike It OEM Mirror - BMW F800 GS / F650 GS / R1200 GS

Compared to the oem BMW they are pretty lightweight and it's obvious they are not as substantial as the factory item, but at £20 vs £80 that's not surprising. My only concern is that they move pretty easily in the mount. So they might shift at high speed but so far they seem to be ok.

Although at first glance they look the same it wasn’t until I came to fit them that I realised the mirrors threaded ends were different - Originals have 1 left hand & 1 right hand threads (8mm fine thread) replacements are both 8mm r/h standard pitch.
Could have re tapped/helicoiled the handle bar socket to suit but having been a mechanical engineer for over 40 yrs the golden rule is that you do not alter a correct part to accommodate an error in an incorrect part.
Correct parts now sourced & these items binned.
