Sizing very small

I ordered size 9 (UK) but was unable to insert either foot as the boot opening was far too narrow.
Comparing the foot section to my older boots (Spada) the Duchinni Atlas appeared much narrower. If you are going to get them, I would suggest going up at least one/two sizes. They may suit a female foot profile better. I cannot comment on their build or weather performance.
