The label inside your boots will tell you about what tests they've gone through, and how they did. Here's how to decipher those labels for yourself...
Customers consistently praise these boots for their comfort and quality, highlighting their waterproof features and value for money. They often suggest ordering a size up for the ideal fit, as some found them slightly tight. Customers appreciated the boots' style and durability, noting that they provide reasonable protection without being overly heavy. Many emphasized their comfort both on and off the bike, stating they were satisfied with the quality at a reasonable price point. Overall, these boots come highly recommended.
For the low price you can’t expect the world. They do their job, pretty tall, got reinforcements to protect your ankle and shin.
They they aren’t the most comfortable shoe I have had on my foot. The main issue for me was at the top of the boot, it was chafing and stabbing my calve. So I had to file it down a bit. Other than that it fits well, having chosen 43 it fits my foot pretty well so I would say for anyone to go for true to size. But again for the price you can’t complain much.
These boots fit to size , are comfy almost from get go, and easy to walk in ,£70, no brainer
I found these boots ok for the price. In lining isn’t the most comfortable. That being said they have done well over the entire winter and kept my feet dry!
I have trouble finding bike boots that are easy to get on and off over my ankle and thus boot proved to be the easiest and most comfortable without being bulky and looking oversize . The zips are a bit stiff but they are new and will probably become easier when used.
Fit well, chose a size bigger than I needed, good choice
This is the fourth pair of this brand of boots we have purchased. Myself, partner had 2 pairs and bought one as an Xmas present. Was really impressed with the price and quality, personally I struggle with calf sizes but this brand was fine .. had to size up 1 size as I do with bike boots, but other than this I Really can't fault them
Boots look like a quality item. They're quite tight around the ankle and calf, especially considering I have narrow feet, but seem to be breaking in and loosening up. The zip tag broke off both boots almost immediately but doesn't matter. Worn them today for about the 4th time and they're starting to become comfortable and have been waterproof so far. Easy to walk in, look good and can still change gear in them, unlike some overly chunky boots. Bargain for the price.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend these boots for one moment, so they may not be high end or have mega triple safety ratings, but after trying on 4 or 5 different waterproof boots at wildly different price points in the boston store (helpful staff, many thanks) these DXRs were an absolute revelation really. It's subjective but, they are supremely comfortable on and off my bike straight out the box, have protection that's where its needed but doesn't impede movements or feel noticeable, having ridden for 2hrs in biblical rain last weekend they kept my feet dry...nuff said. I didn't set out to buy a really cheap set of boots but they were so markedly more comfortable than other market leading offerings with all of the features you need but nothing more, it was a no brainer for me. Size wise I actually went down one as I found them to run a bit large. Fit is great as the toe area is quite broad and the heels internal cup shape does its job and gives your foot proper contact when your on the pegs. They appear well made with good strong stitching, an easy zip with vector tab, and reinforced panels on both left and right boots. Nicely styled in my opinion and for the money if I get a couple of seasons out of them I'll be delighted, may even get another pair as they're such a bargain. Highly recommended.
Excellent boot they are a good fit so best to try them on first.
Good quality zip and good in the bad weather
They are cheap but quite comfortable and look good. Size was on point for me.
Bought these to replace 22 year old ones. I bought a half size up but still a tight fit though comfortable enough, I am hoping that they loosen up with wear. A sturdy well made boot with good protection. Half the price of my previous ones so a win win I reckon.
I am always concerned when buying motorcycle boots as I find that they are tight on the calves. However these fitted fine although one of the zips is a little stiff to operate I am sure it will loosen with use.
Good value well made boot.
At the cheaper end of available boots. On arrival the boots were better on quality than my expectations were and I am delighted with the quality and comfort. Service from Sportsbikeshop was excellent and an exchange for larger size was expedited quickly, and I was delighted with the service. Best to order a larger size than for shoes as they do come up on the small side.
Replaced a pair of budget Richa boots I'd had for a good 10 years. These be are well fitting, go a size up though. Nice sturdy boots. Great service from SBS, no pressure and try on in store.. Fab!!
Bought to replace my old boots, these were tight for the size (suggest next size up) but not uncomfortable. Easy to get on and off and very waterproof in the recent wet weather. Service was excellent. Ordered at 10am on Saturday and were delivered by 3pm on Monday
Good fit seem a little stiff but I'm sure they will work well after a few weeks. And some polishing will soften them!
Good quality boots, true to size and stylish looks. Well worth the price.
