If you have COPD get this lid

RPHA 90 is so much quieter and better ventilated than my old one. I need the flip up function as I get out of breath when manoeuvring my bike. So much easier to breath than with a full face. I can now use my inhaler with my helmet on. Quick release strap is brilliant. Very happy with my purchase.

Fits great. I'm a 58 and got a medium. Feels good quality and really like HJC latch mechanism with the 2 metal studs. Enables really easy latching of the front. Pretty quiet for a flip up but let down by wind noise from the left side which I believe is from the lever for the internal sun visor. Kinda irritating to only have noise on one side!!
Colour scheme is okay but why do manufacturers of flip ups have dull colour schemes?!?
For the price I paid of £259 I'm happy. As usual, fantastic service from sportsbikeshop.

After trying a few well known brands I've finally found a helmet which fits properly. Good looking and great quality.

I will not buy one next time

I could have spent my money on a better helmet for what it's cost. I will not recommend buying this helmet as I have used it in freezing condition, rain and sunshine.
The Cons
- The air inlet at the top does not keep the cold away in winter. My brains almost froze that I had to block the two inlet from inside the helmet with stuff.
- The outward pinlock holders one on the outside of the visor protrudes longer than standard helmets which causes a massive air noise when riding even at low speed. At 70m/hr it becomes unbearable. The studs could have been shorter and curved into the visor
- The poorly designed visor could not withstand my Colberg glove squeegee, it left a really bad foggy scratch and now I have to shell out £50+ to replace the visor.
- No label of the shell composition (carbon fibre?)
The Pros
- Good wide angle view from left and right which means you don't have to break your neck when observing your normal life server.

This helmet is a great fit for my intermediate oval head, with pronounced jaw and chin. This and Shark's modulars are the only ones which don't touch my chin with the bar down. Great construction and finish, easy to route my Cardo Packtalk comm system too.

As always the service from sportsbikeshop was excellent. Ordered in the afternoon, arrived next day, recorded delivery with dpd, well packed and bang on time.
The lid is the most comfortable I've ever had. If fits really well, not to nosey as speed, feel lite on, with a good field of vision.worb it for 6 hours straight on a ride, no problem at all.
Easy to fit my sena on to, as the insides come out easily and go back in with no bother.
All round very happy with the helmet
