Advice & Guides Got a thirst for knowledge that extends to the markings on your bike's tyres? Allow us to quench that for you...
I have a few bikes one of which needed a decent set of new tyres, (old bmw r1100rt) having already used the original Angel tyres on a Suzuki TL1000 and reading reviews I decided to have a punt with these, only took a few miles to get them scrubbed in and due to the chemistry of heavy bike and a tyre designed as a good all rounder they are everything I hoped they would be, planted grip, lean angles that have the bike ground out, good braking and if ridden with “spirit” and the back end starts to loose grip it does so controllably, the front remains planted, I’ve not used them on frost or ice yet, but that of course is down to judgement and being very steady regardless of tyre choice.
I’d buy them again, so I guess that’s all you need to know.
