Purchased these to move away from Kevlar Jeans for 'casual' riding as I never felt they would offer much protection. These feel as protective as my full race suit. Quality is superb, great protection in knees and hips. The fact it zips into the jacket again is a massive plus from a safety perspective. Superb comfy and look great. I am normally 32 in jeans max, I ended up in 36 in these trousers, I'm athletic build. So I would recommend going 1 or 2 sizes up from normal. Overall really happy with these and will never go back to Kevlar jeans

I have been using the previous Alpinestars V1 tack pants for the last 3 years so a new upgraded pair was due. Not dissapointed these are an even better construction and finish.

Nicely made, solid jeans. Great that hip armour is included. Go up at least one size, I'm pretty slim and waist and thighs were very tight even +1 to my normal size. The hard plastic on the knee sits great on the bike but look very weird when you are walking around if that bothers you...

I bought these as part of a 2 piece suit to match a Missile jacket in the same colour scheme.
I normally wear a 30 or 32 in jeans but had to get the 34 waist in these as the 32 was just too tight. I dont have overly muscular legs but i appreciated the calf zips which give a little more room.
They are constructed very well and feel like high quality.
The knee sliders are removable too if thats not your thing.

All round another good product from alpinestars
I am a waist 32 and tried but was way to tight so sized up to a size 34 that fits perfect I am 5.11 12 stone athletic build with slim waist.
When in standing up right position the knee sliders can really stick out and look odd with how knobbly and bulky they are probably because new but in riding position they are snuck around your knees with good protection
The red goes with the alpinestars jacket I brought and I feel safe with a bit of visibility rather then all black
Nice and slim around ankles that make gp boots easy to get on and over

Fantastic set of pants !!! Just a few details to note ! The calf area is very tight so beware of this ! And anyone with big legs should be careful on the quad sizes too!! Overall great fit and shape and really enjoy the trousers !! Protection feels brilliant. Delivery was fast even though item was backstocked
