The label inside your boots will tell you about what tests they've gone through, and how they did. Here's how to decipher those labels for yourself...
Customers find these boots generally comfortable and well-constructed, suitable for both riding and casual wear. The convenient zip and laces system aids in easy removal. Size and fit usually meet expectations, although a few customers noted a slim fit and had to adapt during the initial wear-in period. The boots offer decent protection, and some described them as stylish enough for everyday use. However, experiences with waterproofing and certain design aspects, like buckles, varied among customers. Overall, a solid choice, especially if on sale.
Arrived quickly and perfectly as described. Very happy with the service.
My old pair of Spada Pilgrim boots wore out after 8 years. They were so good I bought the same model again. Comfy, protective, and easy to get on and off. Waterproof too. Great boots!
Great looking boots. Good true to size fit at an affordable price. Staff very polite and helpful. Very pleased
Bought these for a ride to Ireland and the were super comfy and were tested to be waterproof when other things failed
I liked the boots but even after mail ordering a full size and a half up they were still too small. Normally I use a uk 10.5, these in a uk12 were small on me.
I'm always a size 9. After a week at the TT my view is that these are slightly on the larger size fit wise in the width. Good boots though. Everything else has been said regarding they do take time to put on compare to my TCX Hero boots but trump them on price. Worth the money.
Had to go a couple of sizes higher than my normal footwear, fortunately I bought from the SBS shop near Boston so was able to try before committing. Have worn them a few times now and they are comfortable so far and feel as though they offer reasonable protection. The one minor niggle is the lacing which has to be loosened to get the boot on, despite the side zip, and is awkwardly placed under the top buckle.
Comfortable boots that I owned for about 4 years. They are quite high, so jeans never ride up over the top of them. I only stopped using them because the rear of one boot split at the back of the ankle, however I always wore them to commute and all day at work, so all in all they performed very well.
I’ve had these boots for 3 years now and can say they are fantastic, comfortable and warm, all I’ve done is treat the leather once a year and they are still in great condition.
Great boots
Look good, fit well, wear in well.
Best bike boots I have ever owned
I bought these boots as I do a lot of touring and needed something more comfortable for walking around in. From the moment I unboxed them they were so comfortable for walking around the house. I found that the main advantage for me was the fit. I ordered the same size as I would in regular shoes. I have slim ankles and calves (athletic is the word I'd like to use!) and these tighten up perfectly without any slippage. My regular boots I always found to be loose around the calves even when perfectly fitted on my feet. Another dig advantage I've found is that when riding my Ducati Multistrada is that the gear changes require less foot movement due to the sole and the thickness of the boot. I wish I'd bought these instead of my regular boots. They also look great with my Dainese jeans and leather jacket.
100% recommend them - especially if you have slimmer athletic legs like me!
Great service from SBS as usual! ?
Really comfortable & look good.
Easy to ride in,
luckily haven't tested them in the rain but recommend.
This is my 2nd pair of these boots. I really like the style, colour, sole and especially the side zip, as I have a very high instep. I originally got a size 11, which were a little bit too big, but I stayed with them as I liked them so much. When I saw them in the sale I had no hesitation ordering the right size, and am really pleased I did. They are snug, and I will have to fully unlace them for a while, until they wear in. But it is worth it to make them right. As ever, an excellent service from SBS, thank you.
This is my second pair of these boots.
You can wear them all day in comfort, never had an issue with wet feet.
Most importantly, they provide excellent protection, which I can say from personal experience. I had an "off" on the road at around 60-70mph and they did there job brilliantly and were 99% unscathed, apart from a 2mm hole - hence the ones.
Didn't even hesitate in purchase them again as a result.
Good bit: Very comfortable. One of the few of this sort that you can get on and off and fit well JUST using the zip closure. Fit is as it says on the box.
Bad thing: Waterproof? Mais Non - at least that's what a trip to Magny Cours showed. Socks wet from below the cuff of my trousers to the toes. I may be being simple but shouldn't the title "waterproof" mean the product is...waterproof?
So it's a 3 from me as these would be brilliant summer boots for touring but get into 2 to 3 season use and you'll need overboots.
Great boots, comfortable even on first wear which is unusual, look great with riding jeans but have all the bits you expect for bike boots, the zip up side makes getting on and off a lot easier as well.
Best boots I've ever had, no problems changing gear and perfect for a walk around your destination. Very comfortable cushioned sole.

Great pair of boots, real comfortable and waterproof. I wear them all the time as I ride all year round. I took a point off the rating as they are a bit slippy on wet surfaces.
