Customers highly recommend these RST adventure jeans, praising comfort, quality, and versatile fit. True to size, they fit well over boots and have functional cargo pockets. Customers appreciate the warmth of the thermal liner and effective waterproofing in rain, although some mention the challenge of zipping air vents. While praised for protective features, the internal liner's waterproofing is noted as odd by some. Overall, they're favored for durability and value, making them ideal for various touring conditions and climates.
they are exactly what i needed. I bought them to replace kit destroyed by a blue Focus ST! I wanted all year round wear & for some big Euro treks planned. I cant say how they will be in the winter but the removable lining looks OK. 200 miles in the South West heat on Sunday & they were only hot in the built up areas & 30 mph, otherwise brilliant. Would i recommend? Hell Yes! Would I recommend Sportsbikeshop.co.uk service & delivery? Again, Hell Yes!
Bought for a trip to Scotland, on the way up it lassed it down and I was very surprised to be dry, after that it was 26° and hot, took liners out and opened the vents and It was cool as ice, Highly recommended.
Excellent trousers with removable lining.
Keeps you warm and dry.
I bought these because I needed a new pair of textile trousers. I had my last pair for 9 years. They are very comfortable and good value for the money. I bought a long leg as I I'm 6'3 and they were to long. The regular leg fit alot better.
Got them on offer and have jacket, so no brainer. used through winter ,warm and no leaks, have not used them in warmer weather without liner, although they have vents ,prefer mesh trousers in hot weather, one thing to bear in mind is the fabric wets out although you stay dry ,which makes them heavy. and take a while to dry out, same can be said for jacket, so now I use waterproofs over the top of them
Bought these in the sale (£100 off!) weren't disappointed- great quality and accurate sizing. Seem comfortable and sturdy.
I ordered the RST Womens pants, same color size UK14, however they came in 10cms too short. Returned them and ordered the men’s pants in size small. I am 173cms, with an inseam of 83cm, waist size 78cm. Overall, great fit, material is excellent, length perfect. One thing on the colour, on the pictures it seems more white, however this is in fact light grey.
Good fit in the body leg good length
They fit well and are comfortable to wear, they feel like they will be warm in the winter.
Original wanted the multi coloured trousers (blue) but they do no do a short leg...a mistake on RST in my opinion...so black it had to be. As always a good quality product at a decent price .
I don't even think they are shower proof. I have the jacket which is great but didn't get on with the pants.
Fit is ok and true to size
Love these so much not been rained on yet. Look great decent pockets and fit easily over my boots
My first pair started to come apart after 60,000 miles of use in all weathers. The venting on these is really good in the summer, and they are super warm in the winter with the liner in.
Really impressed with the RST Pro Series Adventure-X trousers overall. They feel well made, with solid protection and good comfort on longer rides. Fit is good with useful adjustment points, and they cope well with mixed weather. That said, it’s worth checking the stitching and padding placement, as my first pair had incorrect stitching and the knee pad sat in the wrong place when bending my knee. Replacement pair is spot on. Still good value and would recommend.
These are very comfortable and warm at a great price point.
Fit like a glove. Easy to wear over jeans. No problem getting on and off the bike. Warm and weatherproof.
getting the knee pads in place is fiddly but once in place all good.
great weather protection
The Pro Series Adventure-X is a must have for adventure riding. Made from MaxTex - a lightweight high denier synthetic material that offers great protection and is comfortable to wear. Additionally, a Ballistic textile is overlaid over key impact areas along with the triple stitching using a coated bonded nylon thread offers increased abrasion resistance. Featuring the innovative X-Liner - a singular lightweight lining which features a quilted thermal liner and SinAqua waterproof membrane combined together. This along with the superior levels of ventilation in the form of the fixed comfort mesh lining and leg vents ensure superb levels of air flow in and out of the jean, keeping you cool as you ride. Add in the class leading armour; it has a CE certification rating of A and CE Level 2 knee armour to protect in the event of an impact. And if that wasn't enough, hard-wearing MAX zips are used throughout the jean and there are stretch motion panels and adjustment points on the waist to offer the most comfortable fit.
