Advice & Guides If it feels like armour in your bike kit then the law demands it is actually proper, protective armour. Here's how to tell how effective your impact protection is...

Customers have praised this jacket for its impressive value, quality, and features, making it suitable for all-season use. Many appreciated its warmth and comfort, particularly with the thermal liner. Although the sizing sometimes required adjustment, customers generally found it true to size. Some noted slight issues with the zip and sleeve length, but these were minor concerns. The jacket often kept customers dry and well-protected, with additional armor enhancing its safety. Overall, this product is highly recommended for its price and functionality.
I wanted a cheap jacket to get to a from work and keep me dry in the rain, this jacket fits the bill. At £75 it won't break the bank and it's kept me dry through a few downpours so I'm happy. It's AA rated which is good at this price point and has enough adjustment options to get a proper fit. After reading reviews I went a size up, normally wear a L and bought this in XL and the fit is good, with a little room to wear a fleece in cold weather.
Wanted a lightweight jacket just to throw on instead of my touring one. Feel this will turn out to be great spring/summer touring option as well. Used with thermal liner in and has been comfortable even at 2-3°. Yet to try without liner and vents opened but think will be good with the option to cover up if required-British weather!
Great jacket and incredible value. Definitely order a size up but just one and it'll fit nicely. Better quality than I expected at this price and looks great too.
Waterproof and great abrasion resistance on a friendly price.
No problems with this. Great value for the price.
The thermal liner does a decent job at keeping me warm during rides. I have been unable to validate the water proof claim under heavy rain, but it certainly holds up pretty good, and kept me completely dry during light showers.
It is very much worth the price, and it a good value for the money.
Looks good, good fit and extremely comfortable to wear. Great value for money
Got it in the sale at almost half price. Great value. Warmer than my other waterproof with the option of ventilation. Dealt with a light shower perfectly fine. I sized up from L to XL - recommended for a muscular 5'10 build. Quality and colour choice for black/red/grey is nice. Fits great with space for thermals, and the cuffs are loose enough to go over gloves comfortably or tighten with velcro. Velcro quality is a bit on the cheap side as I find with all Oxford products but should last and can be replaced. Would recommend at sale price.
Apart from looking good it's a great jacket.
Excellent quality at a reasonable price.
Comfortable to wear and warm. Waterproof to some extent however the pockets do get quite wet so I wouldnt stick anything valuable in them. But for the price its a good jacket.
Excellent jacket for the winter season and any long trips planned, it fits well and looks good, has enough pockets for the bits you want to keep handy, I've fitted a back protector as well. All in all it's a good addition to my kit and a lovely jacket.
I got this jacket for £75 as it was on offer. I wear a hi vis coat over it so I can't comment on the wind resistance but I did get caught in the rain with it and it did keep me dry. It's comfortable, warm and a good fit - i do recommend sizing up especially if, like me, you wear a jumper underneath for extra protection against the cold.
Something I am dissapointed with is the removable thermal layer. There's a pocket that you can put your phone in, and after barely a week of use, the thermal liner started to tear at the seam. Otherwise a good jacket overall. Would recommend buying if and when it is on offer.
Great Oxford jacket, warm and dry
Turns out this jacket is AA rated, not just A! XL fits well for me (42-44 in chest). Gets quite warm with the thermal liner. Perfect for winter
It's very rare you find an item that fits like a glove straight off the shelf, but this jacket does for me.
Nice/well made jacket. Warm enough for autumn, maybe not warm enough for full winter days. Wind does seem to slightly come through the zip area. Not yet tested how waterproof it is. Brought the 2xl and 3xl to try for size, needed the 3xl for my 46''chest 2xl fitted but left no room for jumper underneath.
