Very comfortable good quality backpack
12 October 2024 by Nick B
Just what I wanted for tyre repair kit, visor cleaner and basic tools which I don't have room for under the seat. The waterproof compartment will definitely be useful in the UK although I have not used it yet!
Expensive but seems very high quality, hopefully it will last a good few years.

Comfortable?
01 June 2024 by Lee
I've never been one for wanting to ride with a backpack, I've always found them uncomfortable and restrictive however, making a big trip to Europe wanted to have more things to hand including a drink in the go.
Went down to the Harlow branch, to enable me to have a good look and this backpack is excellent. For me perfect size with enough space for those vitals required and then I added the 1ltr pockets on the shoulder straps, which again changed the bags versatility again.
The webbing on the back is a great touch and you find putting anything and everything there, even a croissant! All parts of the bag are well thought out and very comfortable. The one thing I found a little pointless on this bag was the waist strap so removed.
As per Sportsbikeshop is my go to and never had any issues and even going above and beyond, sorting out an issue with an OS back in record time before leaving to ride the USA.
Buy with confidence, and Kirega you cannot go wrong. Yes expensive but worth the extra pennys for the warranty alone.
One little tip, if putting a bladder in, shop around as the one from Kirega is far too expensive. Military grade ones are more than half the price and much more robust.

Lightweight backpack.

Bags of room in this waterproof and lightweight backpack. Great for offroad adventure and kept my back warm on the coldest of days. Easy to clip on and robust enough to survive many spills on an icy ride today.

Never been a fan until now
19 July 2023 by Stephen H
I was never a fan of wearing stuff on my back, still not, but this is small enough, comfortable enough to use, the strapping on it is well thought out, the optional water bladder is a very good idea, especially if you venture off road and need something more than a Latte. You can get attachments for it, the usual Kriega quality shines through, 9 litre capacity doesn't go far especially when you have the hydro pack in, but big enough to keep important stuff in like wallet etc, I bought it to put my Sat nav in when off the bike.. but haven't yet got into the habit of using it for that. Consider the larger pack size if you want more stuff on your back.
The open pouch at the back they say is useful for drying a bit of kit, after 10 days on the road I can confirm this is purely down to what the British summer decides to do to it.

Kriega Trail 9
11 May 2022 by Simon S
I already have some Kriega items & bought this with every confidence in the quality - I was proven right! Another well-made, well thought-out high quality item. I don't like weight on my back when riding so wanted something big enough for essential items but small enough to not be cumbersome & this is perfect for that. Never left wanting with Kriega - buy cheap, buy twice. Already recommended to all my biking buddies.

Bigger than expected, the prefect daypack
08 April 2021 by Chris
It is expensive as its new but as always with Kriega, the quality it great and it is super comfortable. I bought it not to use with a hydration pack but as a lightweight, fair weather, day pack for the bare essentials. I didn't need a bulky 15L size bag. The main pocket, without the optional hydration pack is big enough to fit a decent size chain and disc lock and a couple of bottles of water. The front roll out, waterproof pouch is plenty big enough for keys, wallet, mobile etc. The expanding net at the front has a good bit of expansion for gloves etc. Glad I bought it, just a shame its so expensive.
