I like the look of these Pilot Street tyere with their simple curvy tread pattern - it pairs well with other brands of rear tyres like the Mitas MC-7 and are great on older Japanese machines where you're looking to add a more modern style tyre.
Very easy to fit using regular tyre irons and a bit of lube despite the cold temperatures (was about 8 degrees). I fitted without a tube and the bead seated first time with a few bounces to help it along.
A good value tyre for older machines.
Good tyre at an affordable price. Was really easy to fit aswel.
Michelin never work on one isolated element of performance. Instead, they focus on the whole package: safety, durability and the thrill of riding… all at the same time and with no trade-offs. That's what they mean by Michelin Total Performance. Tailored tread depths and new tread compounds give Michelin Pilot Street tyres the perfect balance between grip and wear. Their grooves are angled towards the shoulders to cut through water and ensure a good grip on wet surfaces. Their extra-long lifespan is an important quality for everyday use: they're 35% longer lasting than Michelin Pilot Sporty tyres. Their design is inspired directly by Michelin's Sport Touring Radial tyres and their tread pattern is adapted from MICHELIN Pilot Road 2 tyres. Discover the true joy of day-to-day riding with handling that comes into its own in and out of town.
