Love this product.
Had the original boots when they first came out years ago and loved them then.
Saw these and thought I have to have another pair. Such a grate boot for when you want to jump on and go, or even just need to pop out to collect something.

These ankle boots are very comfy. If you don't like a full length boot but still want ankle protection then look no further. lf you have wide feet like I do, I suggest getting a size up. They are perfect if you are commuting as they can be put on and taken off with ease. I actually use them for walking in as they are very comfy. Even with the slightly hefty price tag I would recommend giving them a try. I didn't regret it.

Great product and true to size. This is my second smx short boot. I find it more practical for commuting, since you can actually walk in it and don't feel like you're Bigfoot. Great speedy dispatch from SBS as always. Been ordering here since 2018.

First impressions - Alpinestars SMX-1 R V2 Boots

Very sturdy construction and plush finish. My feet feel very secure, though, as a London commuter who has always used full length race boots, it did feel a bit alien at first. With lots of air flow, my ankles get a bit cold between the trousers, so probably best for warmer weather. However, they are comfy for walking/ wearing for long periods.
Overall very satisfied with the boots, good service and prompt delivery!

Superb boots, convenient for Scooter pilots and race track wannabes all. I waited months for these because of the inside zip and velcro fastening that make them super easy to use. My bike is my work machine I am on and off it all day long so simplicity is key. Getting kit on and off quickly is just more efficient and these boots are among the few that do that.

I love these boots! From the minute I put them on they felt so comfortable. I did wonder if I was over reacting, so thought I'd try them on round the house and if they weren't right take them back.
When they arrived (purchased in store on a Saturday, posted to me on the Sunday, arrived on the Monday - amazing service!!), I tried them on again and knew straight away they were perfect.
I have large calfs so even a mid boot was tricky with a one piece, and these solved the problem.
They feel so comfortable yet are so sturdy and I feel 100% protected.
I cannot think of any bad points, sorry.
