I took advantage of the "try or buy" facility that SBS offer. I ordered 4 different pairs of jeans to try in store at Reading. Although these were the most expensive of the 4, they were by far the most comfortable and best fitting (34" waist, short leg). Knee armour is included but hip protection is not, so that's an extra expense if you want that feature. I found that standard D30 hip armour from my other trousers fitted the pockets perfectly.

These are the most comfirtable jeans i own. Enough stretch so yiur knackers arent all bunched up. Theyre lined so nice and toasty and o viously the fact they have built in knee protection and are made of kevlar is just reassuring.

Really nice quality jeans and extremely comfortable to wear on or off the bike. The nice tapered style fits perfectly but still with enough for me to wear my boots underneath the jeans. Slightly higher waist fit than my previous jeans means that I no longer feel the need to keep pulling them up each time I stop the bike.
They feel like much more of a regular jean but still give the feeling they would offer good protection in the event of a slide.

Really good pair of jeans that look and feel like normal jeans. Knee protection has good adjustment and you can optionally put in hip protection. They look good if you prefer a slim fit. I did find they are slightly longer than you would expect but they look cool as turn ups with a boot.

Sportsbikeshop Norwich has a good selection of bike jeans on display. I chose these ones as they are single layer and had soft armour instead of hard rubber. They fit nicely and are comfortable both on and off the bike.

Tried on in store and found them to be a good comfortable fit allowing plenty of movement when riding. The stretch of the material keeps them fitting well and looking good. Surprised they only came with knee protection but I bought hip pads which fitted nicely into the jeans.

This is a 5 pocket western style jean and features a coin pocket, front fly opening, contrast stitch detailing and a whiskers design detail to the front leg across the forks.
Made from stretch denim with an aramid fibre lining in key impact areas such as the side of the leg, seat area and knee. CE rated to Level A, additional protection is also offered by the CE Level 1 knee armour and a pocket for the hip armour. Supporting this on the reverse of the jean is the new RST Infinite Adjustment Armour System for the knee armour. Essentially, the knee armour cotton pocket has been extended across the length of the jean legs. Additionally, the knee armour is now housed in a cotton bag and once inserted into the pocket, can be adjusted using the hook and loop system on both the armour bag and the armour pocket. This gives endless possibilities for positioning the armour to suit and aids comfort levels. A ruler is printed on both armour pockets to support positioning accuracy on both legs.

Hi, Kevler jeans I have to 32 waist and 42 inches long from waist to the bottom. Here the chart says that regular is 32 inches long and long one is 34 inches long. I want to order one. Which one would fit me?
December 10, 2024The leg length provided is an inside leg measurement, and so you'd need to measure your inside leg, and then go off that measurement when deciding whether the Regular or Long option would be a better fit.
