Oxford Cliqr Mirror Mount

Not an inexpensive item at almost thirty quid for a few small items, but it is built well and does what it says. Easily fitted to my 13mm dia mirror stalks using the second largest of four rubber grommets. So far remains secure and easy to adjust to a convenient angle.
I thought it worthwhile to mask off and carefully rub down the plastic coating on my phone's back cover at the area of contact with the Cliqr's sticky pad to give a really good surface to bond to - TBH any attempt to remove the pad will probably damage any surface finish anyway, so I'd rather be safe than sorry and it can stay on the phone until I replace it. I reckon the pad itself will fail before the glue bond. Can't be sure though if it's stuck to a slick plastic surface though without any prep and there are warnings in the instructions to be careful about what the unit is stuck to. An alcohol pad is included to thoroughly degrease the glue area.
Would like to have seen a slightly larger latch but it is what it is and looks OK.
