Klim Resilience Jacket - Stealth Black

Purchased to go under Halvarssons Jacket when it gets colder. Haven't needed to use it yet so can only give 4 stars...

I’ll admit, I wasn’t sure what to expect from the Resilience jacket at first. It’s marketed as a light outer layer or a casual piece, but in reality, it’s turned out to be one of the most versatile bits of kit I own. I previously owned a zypher and found that to just make me clammy as it's completely wind proof (and therefore not breathable at all). This is miles better.

It’s way lighter than it looks in photos - more like a stretchy softshell than a jacket. That said, it still cuts wind well and adds just enough warmth under a mesh or Marrakesh jacket when the temperature drops in the evening.

The cut is very "Klim": slightly tailored without being restrictive. It layers perfectly over a base layer and under a bike jacket without bunching. And when I’m off the bike, it actually looks smart enough to wear into a shop or pub without screaming "bike gear".

The high-vis hits are subtle but effective - they don’t make you look like a road worker, but they do give a bit of visibility when needed. The Asphalt colour is spot on too; goes with anything and doesn’t show dirt.

Pockets are well-placed, zips are solid, and it packs down small enough to throw in the top box or pannier without taking up much room.

In short, it’s the kind of jacket you don’t realise you’ll reach for so often until you own it. Ideal for spring/autumn rides, office commutes, or just grabbing a coffee off the bike.

Highly recommended if you want a lightweight, stylish mid-layer that doesn’t look or feel like traditional bike kit.
