Good item but marks on it when delivered

The chest roost, body armour is good, but when I opened the package there was marks/ scratches on the chest plate. Due to the fact that I was leaving the country and needed the item I didn't return it. I am only going to scratch it myself when I start riding with it. But it should have come unmarked. Apart from that the item fits well and appears well built
