Verified Customer Reviews for SW Motech Pro Micro Tank Bag
Our customers say…
Customers praised this tank bag for its compact size, secure magnetic ring system and excellent build quality. Many said it is ideal for essentials like phone, passport, sunglasses and drinks, while remaining unobtrusive on the bike. It mounts and removes easily, looks well integrated, and the rain cover is a useful addition. A few noted the ring is separate and the internal base reduces usable space.

Fits nicely and neatly as I didn't want a large bag. Would have liked a shoulder strap but it'll be easy to carry.

I purchased the SW-Motech Pro Micro tank bag as an alternative to a leg bag. Best purchase I’ve made so far.
Sportsbikeshop - excellent web site, service, dispatch, and supper service.

Neat, simple and stylish
28 Sep 2026 by Simon
I had previously owned an SW-Motech small tank bag, but after many years' service it needed replacing. I considered a number of other products from competitor brands, but was attracted once more by the styling, colours and functionality. I like the magnetic locator which makes it simple to mount and remove the case. Enough room for the essentials on a ride out - bottle of water, phone, wallet etc.

Compact but very useful tank bag
13 Jul 2026 by Brad
A good compact size (expandable) which I find very useful for keys, passport, usb cables etc because my new mesh jacket only has two pockets. Just toured Spain and France and now wouldn’t be without it. A great addition to my touring set up. Can be mounted in a more forward position than in my pic but I have my phone on a quad lock on my bars so this works for me. Easily detached for refueling or if leaving the bike for a while.

Easy to fit with the required tank ring.
Very sturdy and well made.
This one is a great size, enough for phone, sunglasses, disc lock, charger, and a few other bits. Doesn’t look massive on the bike.

Ideal size for me & my bike
05 May 2026 by Rob W
I have owned this same bag & tank ring previously when I had a Triumph Street Triple RS but stupidly sold it. So now I have my new Trident 800 decided I needed another one. This bag & ring are ideal for my needs. Not too big to obstruct me in any way while riding but just enough room for objects I like to have with me at certain times. It will be especially handy whilst I am at the Isle of Man TT. Will be able to take waterproofs & lunch whilst we are out watching the racing. The included rain cover is excellent as is the ease of fitting & removing with the magnetic tank ring.

The SW Motech Pro Micro fits on almost any tank and securely transports small necessities like vehicle documents and valuables. Like all Pro tank bags, the Micro sits on an EVA plastic base that guarantees it will keep its shape. With the help of a zip, the volume of the tank bag can be expanded. The Pro tank bags offer elegant and timeless design together with durable materials and sophisticated product features. Ballistic nylon material protects the luggage against shocks, wind and weather. The top made of laminated EVA material gives the bags a distinctive shape and, along with a MOLLE attachment, ensures a secure hold for smartphone and tablet holders. The factory-fitted upper ring guide rail allows for the tank bag to adapt to the shape of the tank and the ergonomic needs of the rider much more easily. Only the Pro tank bags offer this flexibility. Matching this, SW Motech offers the patented Pro tank rings made of fibreglass-reinforced plastic. They are made to match the motorcycle model. The robust Pro tank ring with magnetic guide aid secures the Pro tank bags with a mechanical Quick-Lock snap lock. This allows the tank bags to be attached or removed with just one hand.
