You wear waterproof kit, so why should your stuff get wet? These bags will save your bits and bats from a soaking
Glad I got to try this in my local store as I was torn between this and a Kriega bag (I own/have owned a Kriega Trail 18, a Klim Nak Pak, and the usual Kriega us packs)
For me this is almost a perfect touring pack. It feels like a genuine 25L pack (unlike other manufacturers) with plenty of flexibility. The ability to separate the waist belt from the bag means you can reach your destination, drop the main pack and then use the waist as storage for rides away from base camp. Pockets on the waist are big enough for sunglasses/wallet/ phone (S21 in a Quadlock case easily) plus the tool pack can be fixed to it for a bit more storage.
Also has a separate pocket for a hydration pack so you don't need to unload stuff to get at it, and the feed hose has its own zipped pocket on the right shoulder so it can be kept tucked away when not needed. The hydration pocket is big enough to fit a back protector instead.
As a final cherry on top I've successfully mounted a Kriega US10 pack to it.
Downsides? It's not waterproof and whilst the shoulder and waist straps are very good, they aren't quite as comfortable as the chest harness of other packs such as the Nac Pak. Klim also claims it can carry a snowboard horizontally but I've yet to figure out how (not super useful on a bike but still).
Overall, happy with it.
