Alpinestars Chrome Ignition Hoodie - Black / Red Fluo

Very comfortable, internal zipped left breast pocket and an internal zipped pocket within the right pocket. Can add your back protector in the decent sized back sleeve, removable hood via pop buttons however can be a bit fiddly to reattach. Riding at 70mph is lovely and cool as with a tee-shirt underneath as long as the temperature is above 12c, any colder you'll need layers as for me my arms and hips get very cold from the windchill, if you're wearing it loose fit.
Overall I enjoy wearing this as much as possible.

My son tried this on in a shop and loved it so I purchased this for his 19 th birthday . He was obviously very happy but only let down was that when he tried it on in the shop It had thicker elbow armour the one I purchased has very think sponge like armour.

Quick and easy to use instead of a heavier jacket, I have added a back protector so with the standard armour feels safe enough for short (or steady) trips - really comfy and looks good on and off the bike so as above great for short trips.

Alpinestars quality looks awesome and riding in comfort.

I have always loved Alpinestars quality and this hoodie doesn't disappoint. It feels very well made, with support and protection in the right places. I love that the hood can be removed for different styles. True to size fit, would recommend sizing up if you wear an air vest underneath. Great casual look jacket would recommend.

Excellent jumper for the warmer months. Love the hood & was pleased to discover it is attached with poppers, so removable if required. So comfortable and looks great. Found the sizing to be correct.

However, there's less protection than I thought.
There's no shoulder pads, no back pad and the elbow pads seem a bit thin.

Never thought I would bother with an armoured hoodie (I always wear leathers) until I saw this one at Sportsbikeshop in Harlow. As soon as I saw it and tried it on I instantly loved it. Lovely and thick with a lining so it's more like a jacket. In fact, if you take off the removable hood that's exactly what it becomes. Great to wear both on and off the bike. Armour is super comfortable and is barely visible. I wear a lot of casual hoodies and this just became my number 1! I'm a 43" chest and bought an XL and it's perfect.
