Alpinestars Luc V2 Air Textile Jacket - Black / Black

If you're wanting a light weight jacket that also keeps you very cool this is a great option!
I'm one of those riders that as soon as it gets a little warm I boil when on the bike! my first ride out wearing this it has amazing airflow which made me feel really comfortable.
Obviously it doesnt offer the best protection, as it will have to compromise on that for light weight and cooling, but you already know that when looking into this product so it won't come as a surprise, but it still feels like a solid safe jacket.

One thing that really surprised me though, is that even though it does feature some armour...when I arrived at my destination last weekend (the stupidly humid weekend in mid june 2025) the jacket was easily folded up and placed into my rucksack! (Osprey escapist 25L) meaing i didnt have to awkawrdly carry it around with me which was a huge bonus!

The only downside of this jacket albeit only a minor thing, is that it does feel a little bit short for its size. If you ride a tourer you'll probably be fine, but on my sportsbike with the extra reach it will expose your lower back a little, I ride an s1000rr which is aggressive geometry which wont help..

Great jacket the fit is second to none the armour fitted in elbow's and shoulders is very flexible adding no restrictions whatsoever lovely wind flow trough the jacket like wearing a T shirt another good jacket from alpinestars and great service from SBshop
