Oxford Utility Bright Top - Fluo Yellow

I bought this "utility top" to increase my viability, especially on dark mornings. The large fits perfectly to my large jacket. It has its own pockets, which is a great design choice.
The top itself is very reflective and makes me feel more visible when travelling along the road. I would recommend this to someone wanting to be more noticeable.

Not much to say really - does what it says on the tin; keeps you visible. Good quality, very bright with a nice tailored fit. Good value bit of kit to have in your bag when needed.

Bought this after having a cheaper ill fitting one and realising it flaps around. The main advantage of this one being that it's more tapered to bike riding.

A few extra bonus' I didn't expect - The extra layer, despite being thin actually helps keep the chill off in the winter months. It helps keep the rain from soaking through my jacket too. The extra pockets are handy to put keys in sometimes when I can't be bothered to open this and get to the normal ones.

Only dropped a star because it is a little expensive for what it is, but I would also say you get what you pay for in this case, so it's worth it. Ended up buying a second for my partner who is learning. We find when riding together in these jackets, car drivers a way less inclined to cut us up and try to push between us as we're more clearly together.

All in all highly recommended!

The Oxford Hi-vis over jacket is so good I’ve just purchased my Second One as a spare!! My first one, nearly a year old, sits permanently over my bike jacket. Since I bought it I have not ridden, at home or abroad without it. It has a tough zip, handy front pockets and a rear ‘poachers’ pocket. It also has a zipped front breast pocket with a clear window which is perfect for me as I am a ‘health card’ carrier which is on permanent display. I can’t recommend it enough.

This is a week made and, importantly, well fitting hi vis top. It doesn t flap around in the wind and the couple of pockets are handy to save you having to reach under it into your jacket pockets.

It’s made well and is very bright. The pockets are a bit useless but maybe one day I will need my wife to pass me a map from the pocket on my back.
I’m glad I bought it, it certainly gets you seen. I bought the 3x XL which isn’t a big as it sounds. My jacket is a 3 XL too. Recommended

Fit is good, ordered same size as jacket and fit is spot on. I feel safer riding with this on hoping that the drivers can see me and not having to rely solely on headlights. Good selection of pockets etc. will have to see how it holds up in the rain.

The elasticated areas do help when fitting over armoured jackets and keep the fit snug to prevent flapping when riding. Zip quality seems ok as well.

I’m really happy with the High Vis Oxford Overlay. The fit is true to size and sits comfortably without feeling too tight or too loose over my protective gear. The material feels durable and well-made, and it looks exactly like the photos and description online, which was a big plus. I’ve worn it a few times already, it serves to be functional — comfortable enough for everyday wear while still looking polished. Bought to replace an aging bright top. Like the pockets - convenient to hold a credit card for refueling. Not used in the rain yet but would expect it to protect my jacket from muddy road spray.

Fit is great, product is well made and substantial but pretty much weightless so not a hassle to wear. Great visibility! Did 1700 miles up to Scotland and round the NC500 last week and I noticed 'being noticed' even is grissly weather. put is on over a Revit Sand jacket and had no need to remove it (stays in place as you take =your main jacket on and off). Price and service from SBS were the usual excellent. Only slight downside is that the vest obscures the chest and back vents in the jacket. Not a problem last week bu may be in the summer.
