When winter gloves don't cut it then it's time to plug in...
Comfy from the off. Not tried in cold weather yet but feel lovely and warm.
Great gloves
These gloves are so easy to put on as the cuffs are not tight, so this means you're not fighting to get them on.
The app is brilliant! The pre-heat function is really useful and the fact that you can set your own heat profiles is useful too.
The best feature of these gloves is the fact that they link together effortlessly, when you turn one on the other will also switch on.
The heat they give is brilliant, wrapping around the tips of your fingers giving you the dexterity you need for cold weather riding is reassuring.
The auto heat function allows you to set them to a temp and when they get there they'll switch off saving battery. And the last very useful feature of them turning on and off automatically with movement is also a great battery saving function.
The batteries are relatively long lasting and smaller than most on the market that I have come across.
I have had the RST Paragon 6 and the Alpinestars HT5 and these are by far the best of the bunch for comfort. And, when it comes to functionality these win hands down.
My advice, go and buy some today from SBS ofcourse.
Feel very warm without heat function and then toasty with! Nice quality and great service from Sportsbikeshop as always
I bought these a couple of months ago and found them to be VERY bulky with poor battery life, the lining is quite loose inside and I found that I had to faff around to try and get the bloody things on! That was my FIRST pair…..5 weeks after buying them, they decided to stop working completely, the batteries wouldn't charge and therefore wouldn't turn on. I sent them back to SBS who then had to return them to Furygan (France) who then sent me a brand new pair. These ones are still very bulky with a lining that's again quite loose. The battery life is nowhere near that of what's said in the product info. I set mine at 30% and get about 2 1/2 hours max. The only plus point of these gloves are that they're warm when they're not flashing with the low battery warning. I'm not just panning these for the sake of it but for nearly £300 I'd expect them to be a LOT better.
I really like these - not as bulky on the grip as other heated gloves i have. The batterys are easy to manage - and the app works, although i had to put it on manual to keep the heat constant, as auto turns the gloves off when i did not want them to go off.
Battery life appears to last about 2 hours on 70 setting.... quality kit - not quite excellent regarding the overall comfort, but this may ease up with use as they get more supple
Good quality materials, very good fit. The gloves are very warm, I think the Kevlar lining insulates the gloves more than other type of heated gloves. A couple of times I didn't even had to put the heating on. Very happy with this glove. Hopefully it will last a long time.
Quality gloves. Worth every penny. Was out for 4 hours, temperature hovering around 2-3 degrees, and they kept my hands very warm. The app is easy to set up and use. Being an older rider, I tend to feel the cold, however, they more than did the job of keeping my hands warm.
These gloves are great, my commute through central London takes about 35 mins. Even on the minimum setting my hands were warm. The app is really functional and easy to use, once the gloves are paired via Bluetooth. However buy another set of batteries. The gloves feel comfortable and soft. Also they give you peace of mind due to their protective structure. I would highly recommend these to anyone who is thinking of buying heated gloves. Before ordering online I'd suggest, if possible, go and try them on in-shop. Sportsbikeshop have and always are extremely helpful. I can't thank them enough. Just good people!
I Found the gloves very warm I have a half hour commute to work and back the batteries don't last long I change them up every night so basically they only last an hour so I am in the process to getting a second pair of batteries I don't know why they stopped selling the cables to connect to the battery.don't get me wrong they are a good glove a bit bulky but they are a heated glove these are my second pair so I recommend furygan gloves just get a second pair batteries.
I bought these as an upgrade to my RST ones, which were not touch screen so no use with the satnav. First impressions were of a high quality product, and these impressions were reinforced when I first put them on, they were comfortable and a good fit. Before I turned them on I tried the touch screen functionality which worked perfectly. I then fully charged the batteries with the supplied charging lead. Next I had a good "play" with them and the app, which is actually brilliant, I particularly like the auto function with smart move as I am a blood biker which means I'm on and off the bike quite a lot, in this mode the batteries are not being used up when the gloves are in my top box. That said I have since purchased the hard wire so they run off the bike battery which, unless you by a spare set of batteries I would say is a must. A great product, the only niggle being battery life but this is true for all such gloves
I thought the app was going to be a bit of a gimmick but is very clever and easy to use.
I've set the gloves to self regulate and turn on automatically when I put them on. All I need to worry about is making sure the batteries are charged and the gloves do the rest themselves, which is lucky as the right hand glove button has stopped working after a couple of days.
Only worn down to about 6 degrees so far and extremely warm, no doubt they will perform well when the temperature drops.
Very warm and very comfortable
Furygan HEAT x Kevlar Heated Gloves GAMECHANGER .
Since my first purchase back 6months ago & now I think I'm my 7th purchase in with sportsbikeshop, it has been a superb experience, from ordering me items in from suppliers for stuff not available anywhere in the uk, to personal experience with Neal.C staff member making sure I get my items super fast. I've even purchased 2 helmets one full carbon not available anywhere in the UK in that time no issues I would highly recommend purchasing from SBS, just like these gloves, GAMECHANGER!! For the app connectivity heat gloves range, so much features, from timer pre heat up on app,5 heat settings from 100% down to 10% or customise to your pleasure also auto climate set to keep gloves above certain temperature, auto turn off when you stop riding or take gloves off, heated element around the whole fingers & fingertips the 1st lining inside Kevlar & now since watched a review I've just found out there is 2nd carbon weaves lining inside mixed with the Kevlar & the thinsulate type 37^5* warmth all inside the gloves makes a good job of keeping the heat in the gloves, my only flaw I've found is the battery is not super long so it will be 6-7hrs max on the lowest heat setting, but I would recommend purchasing an extra pair of batteries straight away or buying the super boost cable & connecting straight to your bike battery, but that's just my opinion. As I'm a courier but for a commuter these would be more than perfect heated gloves, they state waterproof but haven't tested, yet I'm sure they will be fine their just not goretex I think that it is impossible to get on heated glove as goretex has small holes smaller than rain drops to not let rain in but small enough to displace sweat moisture, which would be pointless on a heated glove, I'm no expert but great gloves & I assure it's worth the high price point where these gloves sit on the market for heated.. hope this helps someone from J.
Fantastic quality gloves! Used in both wet and really quite cold and they didn't disappoint. Heating very noticeably felt over the back of the hands and over the finger tips. Real game changer for me for winter riding. Take a bit of time to break in but I think that's due to the kevlar weave for the heating. Battery life isn't bad.. Great for work commute but worth wiring to the bike if you're out for more than a few hours. I'm a big fan of furygan gloves and these haven't disappointed.
Trick pair of gloves. Very warm and convenient if you don't like wiring to the bike. One touch and phone app are nice touches. Hard to fault these.
Great gloves and work well, love the app and have them set to a temperature and come on when you put them on. Turn off and on automatically. Can be turned on with one glove, turned up or down with one glove too. Worth the extra cost.
I've owned lots of Furygan kit but have never purchased any of their gloves before. I originally wanted a pair of Keis heated gloves and batteries but the batteries weren't in stock.
So I took a chance on these which work out slightly cheaper than the Keis ones as they come with batteries included.
I used the size chart and measured my hand. This told me I was a medium even though I'm always a small. Anyway I purchased the medium and they were too big. Super service from Sports bike shop meant I had returned the mediums and got a size small within a few days.
The gloves are fantastic. The quality seems really good and the materials used. After a couple of rides they feel comfortable and give great feel of the bike controls.
As far as heat is concerned you can feel they get nice and warm when wearing them indoors. However out on the bike in -2 degree temperatures the feeling of heat disappears but my hands never get cold they just remained comfortable for my one hour commute.
I love the way the gloves are connected by Bluetooth and turning up or down one glove does both. Even when you turn one on the other comes on a split second later.
The batteries in the cuff are comfortable and easy to remove. The gloves come with a charging cable and the batteries usually take two to three hours to charge.
These gloves are fantastic and seem well priced against the competition. Would definitely recommend.
These are my second set of Furygan heated gloves and they are remarkable. The technology they incorporate makes them so simple to us, no remembering to turn them on, no faffing with cables they simply keep your hands toasty with no fuss. There is of course endless options with the settings available with the app etc but once set up you can just forget about them, the chilly conditions and focus on the ride. But by far the most impressive thing is the way the heat is dissipated. The Kevlar really works, even with a very low heat settings the warmth does distribute across the whole hand and there's not hot spotting as often is the case with traditional gloves. Having ridden considerable distance in sub -5 conditions in these they are more than up to the task. The batteries don't last forever but I do comfortably get 3 days of commuting out of them with the super boost cable (extra) on hand in case I get caught short. All in all an amazing bit of very clever kit. Expensive but I'd say worth the extra over their competitors.
