Advice: How to make sure your helmet fits correctly
You'd be surprised how many riders wear a helmet that's too big for them. Here's how to tell if a lid really fits you...

The helmet size I normally wear was too tight so it was returned and the next size supplied. Nice helmet, find it comfortable, good comms and very little wind inside the helmet with visor down (well it was for me). Possibly go for a larger size than you would normally take.
Tried in Store. Felt good. Actually wearing it over a few days and 350 miles made my forehead sore. Very hard front lip to this and I wished I had not purchased. Also the button for answering the hands free phone is too far back and very small and difficult to use when wearing riding gloves. To me a wasted amount of money!
I really like everything about the sena helmet and was really enjoying it, but after nearly having my head ripped off when the visor unclipped while looking over my shoulder joining a dual carriage way . The screen is held in with a cam lock type system an no screws.
I am lucky enough to have a number of helmets for various situations so have a good idea of what works for me.
Pros's with this helmet.
The quality of the helmet is pretty good with the fit an finish being noticeably better that some cheaper helmets. The fit onto my head is good (With one reservation. (See con's) The audio is very clear and the linking with my 'phone is immediate. The battery life is also good with plenty of available power for the sort of riding I do. The visor and sun screen work perfectly and are so optically perfect that it is hard to remember when you have the visor down, that it is there. The facial protection offered by the visor is second to none and it has a reassuring snap shut click when fully down.
Con's with this helmets. It is quite heavy for an open face helmet. It comes with no proper instructions. You have to look this up on the internet and in fairness, the help desk is properly staffed with intelligent and helpful operatives. 5* for the help desk! The "Fit" for me is slightly awkward as there are no "Glasses frames channels" in the inside lining. This makes it very uncomfortable to wear. I have several pairs of spectacle frames including a proper pair of motorcycling frames with 1/2 length arms. Even these do not work with this helmet. I also have a pair of Nike make, sports frames with flexible titanium 1.2mm diameter arms and these still have the same irritating problem. The helmet is pretty noisy over 30 mph. A 'phone call would be impossible at 70 mph. All in all a good attempt, but limited by some design faults already long since overcome by other manufacturers.
