Fitted really well. Plenty of pockets. I believe this makes is SBS own. Wasn't keen on the colouring though, but that was more about personal taste. Return with no issues

However when the jacket arrived I was happy to discover the jacket was better quality than I expected.
Great to see it has two large waist pockets that are actually usable (some more expensive jackets I've tried you can barely get your hand in)
Hand warmer pockets are very welcome.
Not as warm as I expected the jacket to be, however after I tightened the lower drawstring my torso was fine. Arms are still a little chilly even with everything tight.
Only other slight gripe is the waterproof inner is a faff to fasten as well as the outer jacket, it would be nice to just have one zip to be waterproof.
Speaking of which I have been in some pretty torrential rain on motorway journeys and stayed absolutely bone dry!
All in all a good jacket that is better than I expected for the price!!

I haven't been out in proper wet weather yet so can't rate how waterproof it is.
It's a bit of a faf to put on because you have to close and zip the liner before you can close the outer layer. Really warm and comfortable to wear on the bike and a good fit. I think with the liner removed it will also make a great summer jacket.

I was looking for a cheap jacket and this one was at a discount when I bought it. Never heard of this brand so was not expecting it to be any good. Untill I went and tried it on. It feels great quality. Has good pockets and looks good. The thermal liner can be used as soft shell jacket on it own and it looks good as well when not riding. Extremely good suprise with this jacket. As always thanks to Birmingham SBS team for support while trying all the stuff in store ;) oh jacket feels warm enough. In about 5-10 degrees I wear thermal body warmer, t-shirt, and Knox jacket underneath and with this jacket on I don't feel cold even on long journey. Didn't have a chance to test it yet in heavy rain but it did well in some light ones. Sleeves are good size. They can accommodate large winter gloves either under or over the sleeve and will be fine with thinner gloves as well. The neck is good fit and prevents drafts ect. And again it seems as very well made thing of a high quality. All in a well recommended jacket even if not discounted. Thanks

Bought this for an up and coming trip to Norway. The fit and finish look like it will stand the test of time. Not used it in anger yet, but I'm confident that all will be well. The outside pockets are closed with 2 press studs and Velcro, I would like to have had a zip to close it. I wouldn't keep my wallet inside it just in case It does have a large pocket on the inside of the jacket, and a pocket for a mobile phone ( Not a Smartphone ) it's on the small size, so not much use really. When you remove the lining you'll have the same pocket configuration. The armour is shoulder and elbow only, no back protector, which doesn't bother me, as I always wear my Knox back protector, so for me it's not a big thing. The jacket is very comfortable and warm too. It's a heavy jacket compared to others that I tried on. All in all for the price I paid for it, I'm more than happy with it.

I bought both the jacket and matching trousers as new waterproof gear. Recently went for a 3 hour ride in some real bad Scottish December weather. Roads were flooded and didn't see another bike the whole time. Torrential rain and sleet. Stayed dry, no water ingress. Not the warmest jacket so layered up with couple of tee shirts and a fleece. On the negative side, the zip for connecting to the trousers is a real pain to do up, catching the inner jacket and lining constantly. Found it's best to link them before putting the jacket on. Overall very impressed

Well being an old boy and definitely old school in my choice of riding gear I've always been more or less happy enough with riding on rain or cold, though not together if avoidable. Pretty thrilling to be warm and dry and to find it's not in the slightest as cumbersome as my imaginings. Would definitely have the matching trousers if they had a 29 inch inside leg! Hooray for the 21st Century! Great quality and the pockets stay dry! Definitely a game changer for me!

I tried a few jackets before settling on this one, it fits great, is very well made, stylish, lots of pockets and has lots of ventilation that actually works. Can't recommend enough!

Jacket was purchased during a tour of South England when the weather was horrendous. Fits well, has everything you'd expect from a touring jacket and kept me dry through some very wet days. Great value for money

Nice and comfortable jacket with large pockets size and protections all around except back (that can be purchased separately). The jacket comes with surprising liners as they are normal raining summer weather and can be wear just like that. All the set is excellent
