I’m very happy with this amazing jacket so comfortable

The jacket is exactly what I was after, comfy, warm and with all the built in protection. The adjustable straps make it a perfect fit. The yellow flashes are a good visual element too. Lots of pockets for phones, keys etc

Great jacket until it started leaking where the arm bends. I guess the internal membrane cracks over time from bending your arms.

This jacket is very comfortable to wear. I’ve worn it during warmer weather with the liner removed but I’d imagine it would be sufficiently warm enough in the colder months when needed. The vents on the front and back seem to work fine to let enough air flow through when needed. Had it on in a few showers and I stayed dry. Plenty of pockets if you need them inside and out.

Having had many, many types, lengths, sizes to choose from, I was able to try lots of different jackets on. This jacket was most comfortable for me. Has reflectors on it, armour, adjustable with Velcro strap and zips for air flow. I feel protected yet free to move in the jacket. Excellent price too.

Well here’s my review of the RST Alpha 5 CE Textile Jacket. Where to start, brilliant price for the quality. Water and wind proof with waterproof pockets. You’re able to tighten the waist, sleeves and arms to your desired fit. It’s fitted with CE amour in the shoulders and elbows with a pocket if you wanted to buy a back protector. I’ve not tried how warm the jacket is due to buying it at the start of summer, but it does have a removable gilet for those cold winter rides. Coming from a leather jacket its much lighter and more flexible. I have to say I was amazed that the vents on the shoulders actually work. I’m returning to bike’s after twenty years away… I needed some new kit. With Sportsbike just up the road it was a no brainer.

Exactly what I was expecting from this jacket.

Jacket has a good feel, added back protector from previous jacket. Good pockets. May seem heavy, but gives that confidence of feeling protected. Bought after a try before buy at Glasgow branch for an Alpine stars , which was small. Good help from staff, allowed settling for this one, no regrets.

I like this jacket, it fits well and is pretty good looking. A good starter jacket, or for a nip out to the local shop. It has level 1 protection in the shoulders and elbows making it a bit lighter than jackets with level 2. There is back armour slot in the inner back of the jacket. My only negative really is the lack of mesh vents for cooling. There are only front and rear shoulder vents. But an excellent jacket for the price and I would definitely recommend.

The jackets is good, I traveled to wales for long weekend, after around 5 hours of raining was okay however around 6 hours it started to let the water in. Arms wet body okay., good jacket worth the money

A great jacket.

As a new rider I did not want to spend much money on a jacket but new I needed good protection. I googled and watched YouTube on what jacket had the best protection for the lowest price and this came on top everyone time.

Really helpful and friendly staff at Sports Bike Shop, kitted me out with my first riding gear showing me the ropes. Jacket is constructed to a high quality and offers protection where needed with the safety benefit of reflective strips. It is also adjustable where it feeds to be to ensure the owner has maximum usage for longevity.
