I have tended to baulk at perhaps more expensive holders in the past, but have been disappointed with the cheaper ones for various reasons. This item is very well made with 3 positions on each side where the lugs to help keep the phone in position, can be fixed. This is to help avoid any switches on the phone side. The spring tension on the clamp is strong and even though my phone is in a case with a flap, I am quite confident that it won't fall from the holder. There is no vibration from the holder when on the move. The ball clamp is very easy to use with a good size knob. Highly recommended.
Good solid piece of kit that my rather large Doogee phone fits into.

This version of the spring-loaded RAM® Quick-Grip™ holder provides a secure fit for a variety of large phones and other devices. The adjustable side keepers ensure that devices like GPS units and Bluetooth speakers within the listed compatible dimensions will also fit in the holder. Included is a medium length RAM® double socket arm and zinc-coated handlebar U-Bolt base that accommodates rails from .5" to 1.25" in diameter.
