Advice & Guides If it feels like armour in your bike kit then the law demands it is actually proper, protective armour. Here's how to tell how effective your impact protection is...

These are okay but the leg is tighter than the previous version so a little tight to get over trials or adventure style boots which I guess is the type of boot the people these trousers are aimed at might wear a fair amount of the time.
They are nice to wear. Soft and somewhat stretch feel. A lot more easy going that the previous version but at the same time for some reason I don't like them as much. Unfortunately my old ones had served a good hard life and even after trying to bring some life back into them with some black dye, they were past it. So I bought these ones.
Quite pricey for what they are now the price has gone up with all Klim gear in the UK. They are good for general day to day riding, but there are probably better and more value for money options out there.
Having tried various other mid range textile jeans and finding them all wanting in terms of fit, quality and looks I spent an extra £60 or so and bought these Klims. All the other makes didn't get further than the 'try them on' phase. These Klim jeans are so good and having finally found the right product I've bought two pairs! (I'm keeping one pair in the drawer as I get the impression these jeans are not going to be around much longer).
The protection sits in the right places and although highly rated Is not intrusive. The material is good quality and not as stiff as a board or feeling like elastic like other brands. There is additional length in the leg to account for sitting positions and deep pockets in the right places. The zip and stud are robust and the jeans are waterproof to a certain level too (as I found out this weekend). All in all a great product. Worth the extra spend. You definitely get what you pay for....
Having tried and returned numerous other brands of biker jeans because they are too long, armour pockets in the wrong places, armour making them almost unwearable I bit the bullet and splashed out on KLIM. What a revelation......high quality, fit perfectly, armour almost undetectable when installed, comfortable, windproof. High safety rating. I've bought another pair off the back of this and they are indeed identical which is different to those Pakistan manufactured jeans that vary in size, length, protection pocket location even when you buy the same sizing. KLIM is quality.....you need to pay for that but it's worth every penny.
Very well made pair of trousers . Wide enough at the ankle to go over forma low boots . Nice and cool on a hot day and enough room to wear a base layer when temps drop . Not for winter riding though . Great service once again from folks at sbs , even gave a discount which was not advertised .
Bit the bullet and splashed out on these jeans as an alternative to my Dainese ones and I am very impressed. Very comfortable out the bag, the armour is so slim you wont notice it when you are riding. They are more windproof that the Dainese jeans too and the length is spot on to keep my ankles covered when I'm sitting on the bike.
