Reviews Want the lightest full-face road helmet around? Look no further than the AGV K6 S...
Customers find the helmets to be exceptionally lightweight, providing comfort and minimal wind noise. They appreciate the excellent visibility and aerodynamic design, though some mention issues fitting glasses. Many note the durable build quality and well-functioning components. While customers would prefer a built-in sun visor, they find the visor itself versatile and recommend the helmet for its fit and design. The snug padding eliminates pressure points, enhancing long rides, making this helmet a favorite among those upgrading from budget models.
After 10 years without a bike I bought a 30 year old cb750 and a new AGV as my old helmet was past its best. Light weight and comfortable when tried on in the shop, reasonable price for something so technical, so took the plunge and next day I was off on the train to collect the bike. Deal done and 221 road miles later back home safe and sound. I admit to breaking the journey into 3 sections, but the helmet never caused any problems - it is comfortable, vision is great, no fogging and with the aid of cheap foam ear plugs no annoying road noise. I encountered 3 heavy rain showers, no leaks or impaired vision, no difficulties in turning my head and no neck pain at the end of the day. There was only one niggle, (not the helmets fault) in that when I wore it the first few times the top of one ear folded over a little, however, after a few times taking the helmet off and putting it on again the problem seems to have solved itself as I got used to the process and the helmet slowly beds in. I would recommend this helmet to anyone who wants a quality lightweight helmet without compromising safety available in a good range of colour options.
Quality finish, light weight and great paint job
My head size is 58 and medium is snug but comfortable, I wear glasses and with the usual wiggling about they are fine when in place, surprise was that the inner lining extended beyond the outer shell on my forehead by about an eighth of an inch ok for me as I only ride in the dry and warm.
Amazing helmet, I’m super impressed with how light it is and it is also pretty comfortable once it’s been broken in.
Impressed with the AGV K6-S, firstly it s very light compared to other helmets at this price point, it is also well made, the vents have a decent motion and easy to use with a glove and they work well as you can feel the airflow, changing visors is easy and the ability to lock in a slightly open position is great. I found you do get a bit of buffeting at speed but this can be due to various factors. Can t really comment on noise as I use earplugs and again can vary bike to bike.
I’ve been using the AGV K6 S helmet for a few weeks now, and I have to say it’s excellent. It’s incredibly lightweight, which makes longer rides much more comfortable, and the visibility is superb — I feel very aware of my surroundings at all times.
It’s not quite as quiet as my Arai Quantic, but since I always wear earplugs, that hasn’t been an issue for me at all. Overall, I’m very impressed with this helmet and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a high-quality, comfortable ride.
Double d strap and blocks out the sound of wind visors are high quality and the tint is easier to see through at night than most visors !
Sleek, light and comfortable. The cheek lining feels premium and the pin lock system is fantastic at preventing mist on the visor
The helmets absolutely stunning and the fit is perfect. So comfy and virtually no wind noise for me.
Very comfortable helmet and looks great. There is a little bit of noise at speed but not excessive
Got this on offer and with the photochromic visor thrown in as well. Bargin.
Very comfortable helmet with a great fit overall. It is very light which adds to the comfort factor and styled well for my head shape. Keeps my head warm in the colder weather and the easy to use vents in gloves is a bonus when needing ventilation.
Bought this helmet due to the SIC 58 design. Have other AGV helmets but this is by far the lightest and most comfy of them all. Would recommend a K6 S as a great purchase. Sportsbikeshop were as usual prompt with sending the helmet out once ordered.
Italian quality with the benefit of slots for the arms of glasses making for a comfy fit. Vent helps for visor steaming up once on the move. Hard to fault this helmet. Price reasonable too!
My first helmet I ever bought, so good. Super light compared to others, good vents to get some extra airflow in. Has speaker cut outs so can have a Cardo attached. But pricy but great helmet
Great helmet. Get the pin lock.
