RST S1 CE Textile Jacket - Black / Grey / Blue

Great fit, I went one size up, as they can be adjusted, bit more room for moving around, and wearing a jumper etc underneath, can't go wrong with this jacket, looks good, fits great.

Picked this up to go with my new KTM, only needed the jacket as already have RST Leather Trousers, slight difference in zips for joining together, but, they still joined. Nice colour to match the new 1390

Biking for 30yrs + and this is the first ‘summer’ jacket in all that time. Really pleased with the choice based on quality, comfort and look. Road test showed it to cope well with a 100mile jaunt. Cannot comment on the waterproofing yet (can’t believe I said that for this summer). 1 star deducted for the fidgety main zip - glasses time. Buy with a good degree of confidence

I use the bike all year for commuting as well as leisure rides on days off. I needed a lighter weight jacket for warmer times of the year and having owned another RST jacket that has served me well, I gave this a shot.

I'm thin built and tall and this fits fairly well, if a little short in the body. When zipped into RST trousers it's no issue but can ride up a little at the back if not. Arms are a good length but are tight at the cuff - you won't fit big cuffed gloves into these sleeves.

Adjustability is good - can tighten up at waist and arms and when riding at speed there is absolutely no flapping fabric.

Vents are okay but could do with larger ones to scoop more air in, particularly on hot days.

Worn in heavy rain showers (typical UK summer weather) and proved to be water proof with no leaks coming through. I've found this to be the case with other RST jackets also.

I've upgraded to level 2 armour throughout, which fitted in the pockets without issue, though
I had an issue with ragged zelcro on one of the arms, which was scratching when worn. This was solved with a bit of rubbing with sandpaper to smooth it off.

Subtle reflective strips seem to do their job well enough, though I have the white panels to help with visibility anyway.

Two front pockets, which are quite small but I'm able to fit keys and phone in there - just. Don't rely on them staying impervious to water though as the zips aren't lined. Internal pockets are plenty big enough.

Internal gilet is lightweight and keeps the chill off on a morning commute though is body only - not lined down arms.

Overall; good jacket for warmer times of the year. With a couple of things sorted, it'd be perfect.

Very comfortable and can easily be worn for long durations of time. More movement than most of the jackets in the same category in my opinion.

I am a large person , and I am very long . The armour and fit of this jacket is very good , lining is very easy to remove . Very happy with this

I'm very pleased with this jacket as with all my RST products. The price here on Sportsbikeshop is very good. The jacket looks great with a quality you would expect on a more costly item. The fit feels pleasingly comfortable. The only thing missing is a back protector, fortunately I had one from another RST jacket. Given the cost of this jacket this can be excused. 5/5

I was a little nervous about replacing my old RST leather jacket but this jacket ticks every box and the old jacket is now resigned to the local recycle centre. Service was great and the jacket fits perfectly. Money well spent and the next purchase will be the matching textile leggings.

I’m new to riding and I bought this jacket to do my DAS course. With the good weather this jacket is well ventilated and comfortable. Wearing this jacket has gave me more confidence on a bike.
Was recommended to size up with this jacket so I went for a medium. Also bought the back protection for it.
Highly recommend. A+
